Michael Jackson’s favorite food is KFC chicken. The artist’s rider was published on September 1, 2003.
Food preferences:
1. Breakfast. KFC Original chicken breast, mashed potatoes, corn, cookies, scrambled eggs with strawberry jam, gravy, and spray butter. Lightly salted salmon, low‑fat wheat bagels, low‑fat cream cheese. A fruit plate and whole fruits (especially oranges, grapes, apples, and bananas).
2. Lunch. KFC Original chicken breast, mashed potatoes/gravy on the side, corn on the cob, cookies with strawberry jam and spray butter. If flights last several days in a row, he may try other types of chicken but still prefers KFC.
3. Dinner. KFC Original chicken breast, mashed potatoes/gravy on the side, corn on the cob, cookies with strawberry jam and spray butter.
4. Dessert. He rarely eats dessert, but on one out of ten flights he might ask for ice cream (sundae). Mostly he chews gum and eats mint candies, or he eats whole fruits.
Beverage preferences:
White wine in a can from a diet‑cola bottle on every flight. 7‑UP, orange drink (Orange Crush) or fruit punch. Occasionally he drinks tequila, gin, or Crown Royal.
Additional notes:
He loves Big Red gum as well as many other gums and mint candies. On very short flights he may have cheese with crackers and fruit plates. He is extremely afraid of flying, yet he gets up from his seat during takeoff and landing. Be prepared to clean up a lot after he disembarks.
No chocolate, peanut butter, broccoli, or strongly scented foods. That’s the kind of “gourmet” Jackson was.
