Stop explaining yourself.

Refuse to Elaborate.

The less you explain yourself the more authority you carry.

Most men over explain as a form of approval seeking disguised as communication.

They want agreement so they provide all the reasoning in advance, removing any friction between the person and the conclusion they want them to reach.

The man who states his position and stops talking occupies a different position entirely.

The silence after the statement requires something from the other person. It transfers the pressure.

It signals that the position does not require defense.

Boldly state what is true. Stop there.

The most energetic people I've met consistently live the simplest lives. Consistent sleep time, natural light, daily walks, time in nature, meaningful hobbies, real food, physical work, true friendship, time in silence. No complicated protocol. No stack of supplements. Just the basic requirements of the human organism met without substitution. Most people are running complex systems to compensate for ignoring simple ones. Get the basics right first.

Nobody is going to produce mass propaganda telling you to be strong, independent, and locally rooted. That is not in anyone's commercial or political interest. There is an enormous and well funded machine pushing you toward consumption, dependence, isolation, and distraction.

None of what that machine promotes is in your interest. All of it is in someone else's. They are not hiding this. It is just easier to comply than to notice.

The things being demonized the hardest right now: physical strength, independence, intact families, local community, exclusivity, discrimination. These are the exact things that make men hardest to control. Pay attention to what is being attacked. It tells you exactly what is worth building.

Discipline is choosing what you want most over what you want now. That's it. It’s not loud, it’s not glamorous, it’s not exciting, and it rarely feels monumental.

It’s not about motivation or willpower or habits. It’s simply the repeated decision to favor the long term self over the short term one. Made every morning. Made in the afternoon when it gets hard. Made at night when the easy option is right there.

Most men's self discipline problem is not a discipline problem. It is actually a clarity problem. They haven't decided clearly enough what they actually want most. Without that clarity the short term usually wins because it is immediate and certain.

Decide what you want most. Write it down. Make it real. Make it vivid. Make is so potent that the short term option looks small in comparison.

The discipline follows the clarity.

Not a fan of “guys” who make a single thing their entire identity. The jiu jitsu guy, the fitness guy, the beard guy, the raw milk guy, the politics guy. They take something that is actually cool and reduce it to a costume. The thing itself is not the problem. The costume is the problem.

A man should be many things (TRAIN EVERYTHING). But the man who is only one thing has usually made that thing a substitute for the harder work of actually becoming someone. The adoption of a single identity is basically a way to pretend to be a main character.

Be a polymath. Be a renaissance man. Be someone who does many things deeply, but never make them your entire personality.

Be refined but never defined!

The most attractive quality a man can have is not looks or money or status. It is Direction.

A man who knows exactly who he is and what he wants develops a look of certainty in his eyes. The way he moves forward without explanation or permission is magnetic in a way that almost nothing else is.

This is not about having everything figured out. It is about having the next thing figured out and always moving toward it. The movement is what matters. Direction and Momentum.

Most men are standing still waiting for certainty before they decide to move. But the certainty only comes after you move. It is the reward for movement, not the prerequisite.

This is not procrastination. Procrastination involves activity, substitute activities that are dopamine driven, activities that do not lead you towards your goals. Whether that’s scrolling, video games, food, the list goes on. When you procrastinate you’re never doing nothing, you’re doing something, something that keeps you from doing what you need to do to accomplish your goals. It’s all satiation, it’s all cope. Stop pacifying yourself. Let the waves of angst wash over you. On the other side of the confusion and stress is clarity, energy, and peace.

Meditation is the number one antidote for the attention driven and endless optioned world. With so many options to choose from, with so many things constantly vying for your attention from countless directions, the best thing you can do is nothing at all. Simply sit and be still, breathe. Let everything pass you by until you are left alone with yourself. Make this a daily ritual and you will feel your true self awaken as you feel the pressure slowly decrease, not only in mind but in body too.

Most brands would never entertain building a single shoe and standing on it. The entire footwear industry follows the same underhanded cycle: release a new model every season, make it different enough that last year’s version feels outdated, and push you to replace what was never truly worn out.

This is most business these days. They call it innovation but it’s anything but that. It’s capitalization.

The shoe industry doesn’t care about crafting a shoe that fits your body and its function. All they care about is keeping you buying. Then sending your money to social justice campaigns.

There is a deeper assumption beneath it all, that business is about creating purchases, not about solving problems.. Instead of solving the problem once and for all, they keep the problem alive and create new problems in order to keep you returning.

I reject this shekelmaxxing ideology completely.

My aim is not to sell you the next shoe. My goal is to build shoes that serve as many need as possible, while allowing your feet and body to move and function properly.

A good shoe should not expire with trends or seasons. It should not become obsolete because a new color or style appears. A good shoe should evolve with you. It should Improve with wear. It should be steady and reliable.

I am about solving problems, not creating consumers.

I’ll give you guys a piece of advice that changed my life personally. And something I tell literally everyone I meet to start doing.

You should start creating content.

If you’re just a lurker or have been thinking about it for a while.

You should start putting things out there.

Doesn’t even have to be good to start with but get comfortable with putting things out there. With crafting narratives and seeing them resonate. Just start putting things out.

Some people don’t need to do this. But everyone will benefit from it.

One of the biggest reason why you should do this is that it will increase your surface area for luck.

More people will see your content than you will possibly ever know. It’ll get to a point where what you put out there has more of a chance of affecting reality in larger ripple effects. Thoughts will be able to come reality via content.

The other thing that this does over a long period of time is that it compounds. Like the gym. The consistency and habit gained psychologically are as much of a benefit to you as the benefits that are mental.

The compounding effect builds relationships and branding that can’t be faked. For instance I’ve been mutuals with lobo for over 5 years. We don’t know each other personally but we have met mutuals, and know what the other stands for etc.

Again a signal over time gets hard to fake. A lot of people I’ve met online. I’ve done business with. Or I’ve met irl.

I can go to literally any city in the world and I might be able to know someone there. Or get invited to things I wouldn’t have.

The network effects are unreal and underrated.

As the world is financialising as is online content. Creation and being able to capitalise on this network. Not that I ever prioritised that.

If you do it well. It’ll rocket your career and earning potential. Making banger content. Is still a hard skill to do and to keep up at it is hard.

When I started making twitter content seriously back in 2018. I was a horrible writer. Now I feel like it’s one of the things I’m strongest at. Time and will.

The other thing it helped me do is refocus how I see value. Before you’d assume what value is and how useful it is. But with content. You get the best results and respect when you refocus on providing value.

This gc is good and well and I love it. But if you made it this far. You need to start poasting. It’ll change your life and it’s not that hard to do. The downside is limited. And the upside is unbounded as it’ll open an infinite number of doorways and possibilities you couldn’t even dream of.

Regarding the country or the city.

You should really optimise for what you’re trying to do out of life at that current juncture.

I believe that lives have seasons and you should embrace the season of life you are in.

If you’re young. And career focused. Then go to the city. Enjoy it. But if you’re 40. Established and with kids and wife. Then somewhere quieter makes sense.

What you shouldn’t do is let resentment and depressive thinking rule your thinking.

Embrace the season of life you are in and seek the full depths of life. Be affirming.

I see too many people make decisions out of fear instead of thinking what if it all goes right. And simply enjoying life

Live life in a way that you would want to live it over a 1000 times.

The decision hardly matters imo. The person making the decisions matters entirely.

Nietzsche talks about this.
