• There's competition between Sharma and Varma.
• शर्मा और वर्मा की होड़ चल रही है।
८। केशहीना नारी जुगुप्सिता भवति।
• A hairless woman is disgusting.
• बिना बालों की नारी भद्दी होती है।
९। तव हस्ते प्रियमेलनस्य रेखा नास्ति कन्यके।
• In your hand, there is no line of meeting the beloved, girl!
• तुम्हारे हाथ में प्रिय से मिलन की रेखा नहीं है, लड़की।
१०। बुद्धस्य शिष्येषु आनन्दोऽपरः।
• Among Buddha's disciples, Ananda is one.

नागरनरवरपरिषदि कस्य मुखादक्षरं क्षरति॥
🌞 अधिभिल्लपल्लिगल्लं भिल्लग्रामसभाऽन्ते बल्लवपल्लवः गोपबालकः अपि वाचालः स्यात् परन्तु नागरनरवरपरिषदि पौरश्रेष्ठजनसभायां कस्य मुखात् अक्षरं क्षरति निःसरति।
🌷 भीलों (आदिवासियों) की बस्तियों के गाल (नुक्कड़) के अंदर तो कोई ग्वाले का अंकुर (लड़का) भी बड़बोला बन जाए परन्तु नगर के सुसंस्कृत पुरुषों की सभा में किसके मुख से अक्षर झरते हैं?

🌿 अधर्मादर्जितं द्रव्यमल्पकालं तु तिष्ठति।
ततः सपत्नमयते समूलं तेन नश्यति॥
🌞 अधर्माद् अर्जितं द्रव्यं वित्तम् अल्पकालं तु तिष्ठति। ततः तत् द्रव्यं सपत्नं शत्रुम् अयते गच्छति तेन अधर्मी समूलं नश्यति।
🌷 अधर्म से कमाया हुआ धन थोड़े समय तो रहता है। वहाँ से वह धन शत्रु के पास चला जाता है और उससे वह अधर्मी समूल नष्ट हो जाता है।
🌹 Wealth acquired by adharma remains only for a short time. Thereafter it passes to the enemy and by which he is destroyed with his roots.

What Lakāra should be used for Universal Facts?
For universal facts and eternal truths (like "The sun rises in the east," "Fire burns," or "Mountains exist"), लट् लकार (Laṭ Lakāra - Present Tense) is the correct and standard tense to use.
The very definition quoted here beautifully justifies this:
> "प्रारब्धो यः साधयितुं प्रस्तुतः, न च समाप्तिमुपगतः स वर्तमान इत्युच्यते।"
> (That which has commenced, is in the process of being accomplished, and has not yet reached completion, is called Vartamāna or Present).
According to Sanskrit grammarians (Vaiyākaraṇas), universal truths fit this definition perfectly. When we say "पर्वताः तिष्ठन्ति" (Mountains stand) or "अग्निर्ज्वलति" (Fire burns), the action of standing or burning began in the ancient past (प्रारब्धः), is continuously happening, and has not yet reached completion (न च समाप्तिमुपगतः). Because the action is unbroken and ongoing at any given moment of observation, it falls strictly under the jurisdiction of वर्तमाने लट् (Pāṇini 3.2.123).
Should we use indeclinables like सदा / प्रायः?
We can use indeclinables (Avyayas) like सदा (always), नित्यम् (eternally), or सर्वदा (at all times) to add semantic clarity or poetic emphasis, but they are not grammatically mandatory. The Laṭ Lakāra natively possesses the capacity to express Sārvakālika (all-time/universal) actions.

In 1875, the Indologist https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Coke_Burnell proposed in his book "On the Aindra School of Sanskrit Grammarians" that the Tolkāppiyam, the original foundational grammar of Tamil, was heavily modeled on the pre-Pāṇinian https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aindra_School_of_Grammar.
Burnell's hypothesis was primarily based on the Pāyiram (prefatory verse) of the Tolkāppiyam authored by Panamparanar, which praises the author Tolkāppiyar as aintiram niṟainta (one who is well-versed in the Aindra system). By comparing the Tolkāppiyam with the non-Pāṇinian https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katantra grammar, Burnell concluded that the Tamil grammar was an application of Sanskrit grammatical rules to Tamil. He was of the view that the Tolkappiyam could not be dated to "much later than the eighth century." (pp. 8-20)

तनुरप्रतिमा च सुभ्रुवो न विधेरस्य कृतिं विवक्षति॥
🌞 सुभ्रुवः सुन्दरभ्रूवत्याः अधरद्युतिः अधरोष्ठकान्तिः अस्तपल्लवा अतिक्रान्तल्लवा मुखशोभा च शशिकान्तलङ्घिनी अतिकान्तन्द्रकान्तमणिः तनुः शरीरं च अप्रतिमा अनुपमा वर्तन्ते। तावद् अस्य विधेः कृतिं न विवक्षति न सूचयति।
🌷 सुन्दर भौंहों वाली के नीचले होठ की चमक पल्लवों को परास्त करने वाली, मुख की शोभा चन्द्रकान्त (मणि) को लाँघने (पार करने) वाली और शरीर अनुपम हैं। इन ब्रह्मा की रचना का संकेत नहीं करता (अर्थात् ब्रह्मा भी ऐसी सुन्दरता बना नहीं सकतें)।
🌹 The splendour of the lower lip of the fair-browed one is the surpasseser of the new shoot, the beauty of the face is outshining the moon-stone (a jewel) and the body is incomparable. The creation (her body) of this creator isn't indicated. (Her body is not possible to be created even by the supreme creator)

• The chocolate was obtained by me.
• मेरे द्वारा चॉकलेट प्राप्त किया गया।

• Going on the path, ten rupees were found by me.
• मार्ग पर जाते हुए मेरे द्वारा दस रुपये प्राप्त किए गए।
६। नवनीतवन्मनसो मन्थनं मा कुरु।
• Do not churn the mind like butter.
• मेरे मन का मक्खन की भाँति मंथन मत करो।
७। सज्जतां विना न प्रयासः शोभते।
• Without preparation, the effort does not shine.
• सज्जता के बिना प्रयास शोभा नहीं देता है।
८। ग्रन्थावबोधाय गुरोः कृपा आवश्यकी अस्ति।
• For the knowledge of the book, the grace of the Guru is necessary.
• ग्रंथ की समझ के लिए गुरु की कृपा आवश्यक है।
९। श्वः सर्वैः लोकमतपरिणामं ज्ञास्यते।
• Tomorrow, the result of the public vote will be known by all.
• कल सभी के द्वारा लोकमत का परिणाम जाना जाएगा।
१०। ह्यः अहं शिवालयं शिवाभिषेकाय अगच्छम्।
• Yesterday, I went to the temple of Shiva for the ablution of Shiva.
• कल मैं शिव के अभिषेक के लिए शिवालय गया था।
