Honey, I want to tell you something from my heart. It’s a place I’ve always wanted to visit, and the thought of finally going there, but with you by my side, makes it even more special. The thought of exploring such a beautiful place hand in hand, sharing those moments and making memories together, makes me so excited.
I’ve been thinking about all the beautiful places I’d love for us to explore together in Vermont, and I want to share them with you in detail.
I imagine us driving through those winding country roads with the trees around us bursting in brilliant colors of red, gold, and orange. It would feel like we’re inside a painting.
I want us to walk hand in hand through small towns, exploring little shops, cozy cafés, and maybe even finding a local spot to enjoy hot apple cider together.
I picture us hiking to a lookout point where we can see rolling hills stretching out forever, or maybe even finding a quiet lake where we could just sit, talk, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
First on my list is Burlington, right on Lake Champlain. I’d love for us to walk along Church Street Marketplace, enjoy the little cafés, and watch the sunset over the lake. It’s said to be one of the most magical views in Vermont.
Next is Stowe, which feels like a postcard come to life. The village is charming, with covered bridges, old inns, and stunning mountain views. If we go in autumn, we could take a scenic drive through Smuggler’s Notch and see the breathtaking foliage.
I’d also like us to visit Woodstock, often called one of the prettiest small towns in America. The historic homes, quaint shops, and that famous Middle Covered Bridge would make for such a romantic stroll.
Another must-see is Montpelier, the capital. It’s small and cozy, with beautiful architecture, farmers’ markets, and little bookstores where I could imagine us spending hours together.
And we can’t forget Ben & Jerry’s Factory in Waterbury. We could take a tour, eat some ice cream, and just laugh together like kids. 🍦
Last but not least, I’d love to take a peaceful trip to Green Mountain National Forest. Hiking through the trails, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and maybe even finding a quiet spot just for us to sit and enjoy the moment. It sounds like pure happiness to me.
So many places, so many moments I’d love to share with you in Vermont. Being there with you would make it even more special because no view could ever be more beautiful than having you by my side.
