Senior Investment Analyst / Associate — Stravinsky Capital
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end analysis for selected deals: market mapping, screening, deep industry research, and investment thesis development
- Build and review complex financial models (operating model, unit economics, scenario / sensitivity analysis, valuation) and challenge assumptions
- Drive due diligence workstreams (commercial, financial, legal, technical): define scope, coordinate advisors, track deliverables, synthesize findings
- Lead preparation of IC materials: investment memos, valuation notes, risk / downside cases, and closing materials
- Support negotiation and documentation process: term sheet support, SPA economics, closing checklists (in coordination with senior team and counsel)
- Work with portfolio companies on KPI frameworks, performance tracking, strategic initiatives, add-on M&A, and IPO readiness projects
- Prepare high-impact presentations for fundraising, marketing, and portfolio updates; ensure a consistent investor-quality standard
- Mentor Analysts/Interns: delegate tasks, review outputs, and raise the overall quality bar
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in VC/PE, investment banking, top-tier consulting, or Big 4 (Transaction Services/Valuation)
- 2–4+ years of experience with demonstrated ownership of workstreams and strong deal exposure
- Strong track record in investment materials: models, memos, IC decks, due diligence summaries
- Excellent analytical skills and structured thinking; ability to form independent judgment under uncertainty
- High attention to detail combined with strong pace and prioritization in a lean team
- Ownership mindset and resilience under pressure; consistent follow-through
- Fluent Russian and English (written and spoken)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; confident use of AI tools/prompting to improve speed and quality
