Man rescued from sinking boat after 35 hrs at sea in US, video out
A 25-year-old man was rescued after being stranded on a partly sunken boat at sea in the United States for approximately 35 hours. The man was found on Saturday after a search plane spotted him on the boat, 12 miles off the Florida coast. A video has surfaced wherein he can be seen waving at his rescuers before being rescued.

Pepperfry CEO Ambareesh Murty passes away due to cardiac arrest in Leh
Pepperfry Co-founder and CEO Ambareesh Murty has passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest last night while he was in Leh, the company's Co-founder Ashish Shah said. "Extremely devastated to inform that my friend, mentor, brother, soulmate Ambareesh is no more... Please pray for him and for strength to his family and near ones," Shah said.

Woman arrested over plan to kill Ukraine President Zelenskyy
Ukraine's security service, the SBU, has arrested a woman over a Russian plot to kill President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. SBU said she had tried to find out the itinerary ahead of Zelenskyy's visit to flood-hit Mykolaiv in June. SBU said the woman was arrested "red-handed" when she was trying to pass intelligence to the Russians.

ED sends notice to WazirX for ₹2,791-crore crypto transactions
Enforcement Directorate has issued a notice to WazirX and directors under FEMA for transactions involving crypto worth ₹2,790.74 crore, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said. Probe has revealed that WazirX was using walled infrastructure of Cayman Island-based Binance, he said earlier. Replying to Chaudhary's statement in Parliament, WazirX said it hasn't been served a notice.

Navi Mumbai Police have filed an FIR against BJP MLA Nitesh Rane for allegedly using the word 'Dalit' during an interview with a news channel, an official said on Monday. The Centre prohibited the use of the word in 2018, as per the FIR. The case was filed based on a complaint made by a lawyer last week.

Philippines releases video showing China attacking its vessel
A video shared by the Philippines Coast Guard showed a Chinese Coast Guard ship firing water cannon at a Filipino vessel in the disputed South China Sea. China said it was acting lawfully by trying to deter Philippine ships, accusing them of trespassing and carrying illegal building materials. The Philippine government also summoned China's ambassador on Monday over the incident.
