📌 ابروج مهم لل Short Stature مع ملاحظات:
🔷 Height ↓, weight normal/high → Endocrine.
🔷 Height ↓, weight ↓ first → Chronic systemic disease/malnutrition.
📌 Vignettes:
🔷 Short, chubby or normal weight, delayed bone age, decreased growth velocity with history of midline defects or neonatal hypoglycemia = GH deficiency
🔷 Short, overweight, delayed bone age , constipation, fatigue, bradycardia, cold intolerance, dry skin, sometimes goiter = Hypothyroidism.
🔷 Short + underweight, poor appetite, abdominal pain, diarrhea, anemia, ↑ESR = Celiac / IBD / systemic disease.
🔷 Short girl, webbed neck, wide‑spaced nipples, coarctation/HO aortic problems, streak ovaries with primary amenorrhea later = Turner.
🔷 Short child, normal weight, normal health, family history of late growth spurt, delayed puberty, delayed bone age and catched up later = Constitutional delay.
🔷 Short parents, child always small (no drop in centiles), normal growth velocity, bone age ≈ chronological, normal puberty = Familial short stature.
