لقد سألتُ بعضَهم:
ما هو هذا الجديدُ الذي تُحامونَ عنه؟

قال:
هو ما يُكتَبُ به في الصحف.

قلت:
فإنّ فيما يُكتَبُ الضعيفَ والساقطَ والمرذول، ثُمّ ما هو إلى الجَزالةِ والفَصاحة، ثُمّ ما يَلتَحِقُ بجَيِّدِ الكلام، فأيَّ هذه تريد؟ وأيّها ليسَ قياسًا من أصلِه العربيِّ المَعروف؟ أفتَجعَلون النقصَ مَذهَبًا مِن كمالِه، ثُمّ لا تَكتَفونَ بخطأ واحدٍ وتَدّعونَ أنّ الكمالَ في نفسِه يجب أنْ يُعَدّ مَذهَبًا مِنَ النَّقص؟ أمِ الجديد هو ما يُكتَبُ به في الصُّحُفِ تَعني لأنّك أنتَ تَكتُبُ في الصُّحُف؟

مركب الكولتشيسين colchicine المُستخرج من نبات اللحلاح Colchicum autumnale (قريب لنبات الزعفران ويشبهه بالشكل وبعض الناس يخربطون بينهم)
هذا مركب قلويدي alkaloid سامّ وبنفس الوقت اله خصائص علاجية اذا استخدمناه بنسب محددة وقليلة، يستخدم بالطب من زمان بعلاج النقرس gout وحالات ثانية بالأخص الالتهابات
هالمركب بيه فد تأثير على الخلايا اثناء الانقسام، رح يحفّز ال polyploidy اي تعدد الماجميع الكروموسومية، بمرحلة ال metaphase رح يمنع تكوّن الخيوط المغزلية وتبقى الخلية متقيدة بهذا الطور وما تنقسم رغم هي كروموسوماتها متضاعفة، يعني اذا جانت خلية جنسية المفروض تنتج 1n رح تبقى 2n و اذا جسمية 4n وهكذا
