⚪ DEMOCRATIC FRONT: ON ANNIVERSARY OF VICTORY OVER NAZISM, BUILD GLOBAL FRONT AGAINST ZIONIST FASCISM
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine has issued a sweeping political and human rights statement marking the anniversary of the victory over Nazism in World War II, calling for the construction of a global humanitarian front to confront the crimes of Zionist fascism — which, it says, has not ceased committing brutal atrocities against the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region.
The statement detailed the occupation's systematic violations across multiple fronts: In the 1948 occupied territories, the fascist state practices the most heinous policies of racial discrimination against Palestinians — deprivation of higher education, employment rights, equality in municipal budgets, judicial discrimination, ongoing land confiscation for Judaization projects, massacres such as Kfar Qasim, siege of Palestinian villages and towns, denial of aid to Arab Palestinian schools, prohibition of the call to prayer over loudspeakers, prevention of prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque, separation of Palestinian families, humiliation of the Arabic language, and the imposition of Hebrew as Israel's sole official language.
In the West Bank, the statement documented ethnic cleansing through the destruction of camps and cities — as currently occurring in the northern West Bank — land confiscation and annexation to Israel, separation of the northern and southern West Bank through settlement projects (E1), flooding Jerusalem with settlers to complete its Judaization, environmental destruction, burning of crops, demolition of homes and buildings under the pretext of lack of building permits, refusal to recognize Palestinian Authority permits, obstruction of border crossings, seizure of merchant funds and tax revenues, reliance exclusively on Israeli crossings for imports through Israeli companies — alongside killings, mass arrests, and torture of prisoners, especially women, children, the sick, and the elderly, constituting war crimes and crimes against humanity.
In Gaza, the Democratic Front stated that occupation forces — backed by Atlantic fleets — have annihilated the geography and demography of the Strip, committing the most heinous war crimes through killing, starvation, torture, displacement, home demolitions, deprivation of shelter from the cold, destruction of hospitals, schools, universities, orphanages, elderly care homes, places of worship, civil service centers, street bulldozing, and destruction of water desalination plants — making Gaza, by international organization admission, unlivable.
In Lebanon, occupation forces continue to raze entire villages and towns, displace southern residents, threaten their security, shell them with artillery, drones, and warplanes, while preparing the ground for permanent military positions and settlement projects — revealing dark intentions to refuse withdrawal from Lebanese land. The same is occurring in southern Syria, where Israeli bulldozers carve military roads through agricultural land after confiscation, preparing for permanent sites and settlements, looting Syrian water, alongside ethnic cleansing and racial discrimination in the occupied Golan Heights.
The Democratic Front called upon democratic, national, and war-rejecting forces to initiate humanitarian committees to confront Zionist fascism — whose danger, facts have confirmed, does not stop at the borders of Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria, but has extended to Qatar, Iraq, Tunisia, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, Iran, Egypt, and Jordan, while the head of Israeli fascism continues to threaten to redesign the region by force according to his fascist Zionist project.
In a separate statement, the Democratic Front condemned the Israeli shelling of a residential home in Block 9 within Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City as a new war crime, demanding an immediate halt to the occupation's aggression and ceasefire violations in Gaza.
