How are u guys doing? How's your studies and exams going on? Hope tht everyone's doing well!

Here are some proverbs that you can use in ur essays, speaking tests, or even in ur daily conversations to sound more wise and intellectual... These could also come in handy if you're joining competitions such as debate our public speaking

On Perseverance and Action

​"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

​Meaning: Even the longest and most difficult ventures have a starting point. Don't be overwhelmed by the scale of a task; just start.

​"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now."

​Meaning: If you want to improve your future, the best time to act is immediately, even if you regret not starting sooner.

​"Strike while the iron is hot."

​Meaning: Take advantage of a favorable situation or opportunity the moment it arises.

​On Wisdom and Caution

​"Still waters run deep."

​Meaning: People who are quiet or calm on the outside often have a very complex, passionate, or intelligent nature.

​"Measure twice, cut once."

​Meaning: Plan and check your work thoroughly before taking action, as some mistakes cannot be easily undone.

​"Don't count your chickens before they hatch."

​Meaning: Do not make plans based on events that have not happened yet or successes that aren't guaranteed.

​On Character and Relationships

​"Empty vessels make the most noise."

​Meaning: People who have the least knowledge or talent are often the ones who speak the loudest or boast the most.

​"Birds of a feather flock together."

​Meaning: People with similar characters, backgrounds, or interests tend to associate with one another.

​"A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor."

​Meaning: Overcoming adversity and difficult challenges is what builds strength and character.

Let's say you didn't achieve your targeted marks for Addmaths; that doesn't mean that you're incompetent ❌🚫. This exact same trial paper came out for my school English examination. I would say that Part 1, 2 were a difficult, and Part 3 was mediocre (maybe for me, for others it might be easier). So, yeah.. try doing it!!

Hello everyone, first day of school after a long holiday can be quite stressful as u will feel a lil lazy... So here are some interesting vocab on the theme f&b for u... U can use these vocabs in ur speaking and writing tests ✨😁 or even when you're posting on social media!

Palatable – Pleasant to taste
Delectable – Extremely delicious (dangerously good 😏)
Scrumptious – Very appealing in taste and smell
Savory – Salty/spicy (not sweet)
Umami – Rich, deep, “meaty” flavor (like soy sauce, mushrooms)
Zesty – Fresh, tangy, slightly spicy
Acrid – Sharp, bitter, unpleasant (like burnt food)
Insipid – Lacking flavor (basically… food with no personality)
Piquant – Pleasantly sharp or spicy
Luscious – Rich, sweet, and soft
Velvety – Smooth and soft (like chocolate mousse)
Crunchy – Firm and crisp when bitten
Succulent – Juicy and tender
Fibrous – Stringy texture (like celery)
Flaky – Breaks into thin layers (pastry vibes)
