🧿 Very interesting... This is not above Iran, this is cockpit audio and HUD of a US F-16 being shot down* by Serbs during the '99 bombing of Yugoslavia.

On May 2, 1999, during NATO’s Operation Allied Force against Serbian forces in the Kosovo War, a U. S. Air Force F-16CG Fighting Falcon was shot down* over western Serbia by a Serbian S-125 (SA-3 “Goa”) surface-to-air missile, forcing its pilot, then-Lieutenant Colonel David L. Goldfein—commander of the 555th Fighter Squadron—to eject safely behind enemy lines; after landing, he evaded capture and was rescued by a U. S. combat search-and-rescue team, later rising to become the Chief of Staff of the U. S. Air Force.

Noteworthy that this (as far as I know) had not surfaced earlier, also, interesting name this pilot has, I wonder where else he may have served

*by officer (future Lt. General) Tiosav Janković from the 3rd Battery of the 250th Air Defense Missile Brigade.

We all look forward to more such videos in the coming days and years.

A friend's father was martyred while at work there.

It is the same playbook they are still using, currently in Iran.

The retired Colonel General, who was one of the organizers of the 1999 "March to Pristina [airport]" at the end of the conflict; had some choice words about how those events, 27 years ago, are still reverberating in Iran and the world today, and how the same enemy continues to wage war against humanity.
