this location is called The Battery Park Esplanade and is right on the Hudson River less than one city block from the towers. the vantage point from this location would have the person shooting the video looking literally straight up - not miles away. fact.

also, by the time the second tower exploded there were maybe 20 - 30 boats or more picking up people from the Esplanade and taking them to the Jersey side. fact.
