Have you ever been on a YBS bus with someone who keeps watching videos one after another at full volume?

Have you ever experienced being skipped in line while waiting at a crowded shop?

Although there may not be explicit rules saying “these actions are not allowed,” there are many aspects of civic sense that people should follow.

So, what is Civic Sense? What kinds of behavior does it include?

Civic sense can be defined as the ability to live responsibly within a community. It also means being mindful of how one’s actions may disturb or inconvenience others.

Now that we understand what civic sense is, let’s look at some behaviors that are considered inappropriate in our communities:

*Throwing litter anywhere other than in rubbish bins (for example, in back alleys)
*Spitting betel quid in public spaces
*Smoking cigarettes or using vapes in crowded public areas
*Talking loudly in quiet places such as libraries

Sometimes, even when our actions are not intentional, they can still cause inconvenience or discomfort to others.

For example, if you unexpectedly run into a friend and start chatting in a narrow lane, it may block the way and delay other passersby.

In fact, civic sense is neither an inborn skill nor something that is difficult to learn or practise. Therefore, if we practise it by keeping in mind not to cause inconvenience to others because of our actions, we can create a more comfortable society and a more livable environment.

Therefore, in order to become more responsible individuals, we will be discussing the topic “Civic Sense in Society” at this week’s Tea Talk Speaking Club, and we invite you to join to exchange ideas together.

တစ်ဖက်လူဆီကနေ အလုပ်တွေအရမ်းရှုပ်နေလို့ဆိုပြီး ကိုယ့်အတွက် အချိန်မပေးနိုင်တာမျိုး ကြုံဖူးကြလား။

ဒီအခြေအနေက ရိုးရှင်းသလိုထင်ရပေမဲ့ တစ်ခါတလေကျတော့ လက်ခံဖို့ အလွန်ခက်ခဲတတ်ပါတယ်။

🔸ဘာကြောင့်လဲဆိုရင် Relationship တစ်ခုမှာ လူတစ်ယောက်က တကယ်အရေးတယူ ရှိတယ်ဆိုရင် ဘယ်လောက်ပဲ အလုပ်ရှုပ်နေပါစေ အချိန်ပေးတတ်ကြတာ သဘာဝပဲမဟုတ်လား။

🔸"Relationship" လို့ဆိုရာမှာ ချစ်သူရည်းစားမှမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ မိသားစု၊ သူငယ်ချင်းနဲ့ မိတ်ဆွေအပေါင်းအသင်းတွေကြားထဲမှာလည်း သူ့ဘက်ကိုယ့်ဘက် အချိန်ပေးရမယ့် ကိစ္စတွေ၊ တာဝန်ယူရမယ့် ဝတ္တရားတွေဆိုတာ ဒုနဲ့ဒေးပါ။

ဒါဆို "မအားလို့၊ မေ့သွားလို့" ဆိုတာတွေကရော ဘယ်လိုအခြေအနေမျိုးမှာ လက်ခံသင့်လဲ။ ဘယ်လိုအခြေအနေမျိုးမှာ ဖွင့်ဟသင့်လဲ။

YBS ပေါ်မှာ ဖုန်းကို အသံအကျယ်ကြီးဖွင့်ပြီး Videos တွေ တစ်ခုပြီးတစ်ခု ကြည့်နေတဲ့သူနဲ့ တစ်စီးတည်း စီးဖူးလား။ မုန့်ဆိုင်မှာ လူကျနေတဲ့အချိန်၊ စားဖို့တန်းစီနေတဲ့အချိန်မှာ လူကျော်ပြီး တန်းစီခံရတဲ့ အတွေ့အကြုံရော ရှိလား။

“ဒီလိုတွေမလုပ်ရ” ဆိုပြီး စာကပ်ထားတာ/စည်းကမ်းထုတ်ထားတာမျိုးမဟုတ်ပေမဲ့ လိုက်နာရမယ့် Civic Sense  (လူ့ကျင့်ဝတ်)အများကြီးရှိပါတယ်။

အဲ့ဒီတော့ Civic Sense ဆိုတာ ဘာလဲ၊ ဘယ်လိုအပြုအမူတွေလဲ။

Civic Sense ဆိုတာ လူသားတစ်ယောက်အနေနဲ့ လူ့အသိုင်းအဝိုင်းမှာ တာဝန်ရှိစွာ နေထိုင်တတ်ခြင်းလို့ အဓိပ္ပါယ်ဖွင့်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် ကိုယ်လုပ်လိုက်တဲ့အပြုအမူကြောင့် သူတစ်ပါးထိခိုက်မသွားရလေအောင် သတိရှိရှိ ထိန်းသိမ်းနေထိုင်တတ်ခြင်းလို့ ဆိုရင်လည်း မမှားပါဘူးနော်။

Civic Sense ရဲ့အဓိပ္ပါယ်ကိုသိသွားပြီဆိုတော့ ဘယ်လိုမျိုးအပြုအမူတွေက လူ့အဖွဲ့အစည်းမှာ မသင့်တော်ဘူးလဲဆိုတာကို ပြောပြပေးချင်ပါတယ်။

* အမှိုက်ကို အမှိုက်ပုံးမဟုတ်တဲ့နေရာတွေ( ဥပမာ- နောက်ဘေးလမ်းကြား)မှာ ပစ်တာမျိုး၊
* Public Spaces တွေမှာ ကွမ်းတံတွေးထွေးတာမျိုး၊
* လူကြားထဲမှာ ဆေးလိပ်/ စီးကရက်/Vape သောက်တာမျိုး၊
* စာကြည့်တိုက်လို တိတ်တိတ်ဆိတ်ဆိတ်ရှိရတဲ့ နေရာမျိုးမှာ စကားကျယ်ကျယ်ပြောတာမျိုး စသဖြင့် အမျိုးမျိုးရှိပါတယ်။

တစ်ခါတစ်ရံမှာ ကိုယ့်ဘက်က ရည်ရွယ်ပြီး လုပ်တာမျိုးမဟုတ်ပေမဲ့ ကိုယ့်ကြောင့် တခြားသူတွေ အခက်အခဲ/ အနှောင့်အယှက်ဖြစ်ရတာမျိုးတွေလဲ ရှိတတ်ပါတယ်။

ဥပမာ - လမ်းကျဥ်းကျဥ်းလေးမှာ ကိုယ့်အသိနဲ့ မတော်တဆတွေ့မိလို့ အလွမ်းသယ်မိတဲ့အခါမျိုးမှာ တခြား လမ်းသွားလမ်းလာတွေအတွက် ခက်ခဲသွားစေတာမျိုးပေါ့။

တကယ်တော့ Civic Sense ဟာ မွေးရာပါ Skills မဟုတ်သလို သင်ရ၊ ကျင့်သုံးရခက်တဲ့အရာလည်း မဟုတ်တာကြောင့် ကိုယ့်ကြောင့် သူတစ်ပါးစိတ်အနှောင့်အယှက်မဖြစ်စေရ ဆိုတဲ့စိတ်ကိုလက်ကိုင်ထားကျင့်သုံးရင် ပိုပြီး နေပျော်တဲ့ လူ့အဖွဲ့အစည်း၊ နေချင်စဖွယ် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကို ဖန်တီးနိုင်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

"သူနဲ့ ပြန်အဆင်ပြေပါ့မလား?" လို့ မေးလိုက်တိုင်း ထွက်လာတဲ့ ကတ်ချပ်လေးတွေက တကယ်ပဲ ကံကြမ္မာအမှန်လား? ဒါမှမဟုတ် စိတ်နှစ်သိမ့်မှု သက်သက်ပဲလား? ❓

"ငါ့အချစ်ကို သူဘာလို့ နားမလည်ပေးနိုင်ရတာလဲ?" ဆိုတဲ့ အတွေးမျိုးနဲ့ ရင်ဘတ်ထဲမှာ တစ်ခါလောက်တော့ မွန်းကြပ်ဖူးကြမှာပါပဲ။ 💔

❓Why do zoos exist?

The general purposes behind the existence of zoos are:

🐺🐨Educational Purposes - to educate the public about nature and diversed species.

🐗🐺Conservational Purposes - to conserve species that are at risk of extinction.

❗️❗️On the other hand, animal rights activists argue that keeping animals in cages does not reflect their natural habitats, and that deep training of animals to entertain humans can raise animal welfare issues.
Some animals(eg, pandas) show signs of psychological distress, exhibiting gestures and behaviours caused by mental pressure—often referred to as zoochosis. 💢🐼
