Ещё один мерч, который я делала своими руками - это шапка Айзена (или госпожи Нефть, кому как).
Материал верха: натуральный мех нерпы (информация для умеренных (?) вегетарианцев: мех натуральный, но взят от пальто из секонда т.е. специально я не заказывала его, а переделала.)

There are always many layers in my work because I like to touch on both the personal and something broader.

Sometimes I base an image or a character on a physical or emotional trauma. In the case of https://vk.ru/wall-64127606_378 both are present: it partly came from the bullying that had long haunted me and my family because of our non-Slavic appearance. That situation was aggressive towards me and forced me to change myself and to disguise myself. It was a long journey where I felt I would never get my true face back. The story of the Cynocephalus is the story of losing one's true face - and about getting it back.

But that doesn't matter to me anymore. I can speak about it freely, I've cleansed my life of the need to conform to anything, and I've returned to who I've always been.

I'd also like to offer you a few figurines I made on the theme of Eisen the Cynocephalus. I'd hate to throw them away - maybe one of you would enjoy giving this creature a place on your shelf.

Material: polymer clay, acrylic paints, varnish.
Year created: 2018.
Price: 500 ₽ + shipping.
However, if my personal meaning isn't of particular interest, there's still the broader context: Eisen has red hair because it's a reference to Nordic imagery that I like, and also because iron in its oxidized forms often appears red or rust-colored. And the Cynocephalus resembles both dogs and pigs at the same time, because those are very cute creatures. He also has a sharp snout and a toothy mouth (I love all that kind of stuff, lol).
