One thing I’ve realized after talking with many traders in this community is this:

A lot of traders are struggling to take even 30 consecutive trades with the same system.

And honestly… I understand that very well.

I’ve received many messages from traders saying things like:

“Bro, I can’t stick to one system.”

And the reason behind this is usually very simple:

The system becomes too complicated.

After a few losses, traders lose confidence in the system because they don’t have enough sample size to prove to themselves that the edge still exists even after a drawdown.

So what do they do?

They start tweaking the strategy.
Adding more confirmations.
More indicators.
More filters.

They think complexity makes a strategy more bulletproof.

But in reality, the more complex the system becomes, the harder it becomes to execute consistently.

And if you cannot execute a system consistently for even 30 trades… then statistically, you never truly give the edge a chance to play out.

Now obviously, discretion is an edge.
If you’ve spent thousands of hours on charts, your market understanding matters.

But there’s a huge difference between:
having discretionary understanding…
and having a messy execution model.
Your analysis can absolutely be discretionary. But your execution should remain simple, repeatable, and rule-based.

That’s one of the biggest things I want to demonstrate through my next YouTube series:

“The 30 Trades”

This series is my answer to that exact problem.

Not only for my own self-improvement.. because your insights and feedback on my trades will help me improve as a trader as well —

but also to show that it is actually possible to take a simple concept, execute it consistently over 30 trades, and still maintain an edge.

Because at the end of the day, you do not build confidence by changing systems.

You build confidence by executing one system long enough to gather meaningful data.

"Consistency builds confidence.
And confidence builds consistency."

You have to stick to the 30 trades. There is no other way out.
