$BTC | Update (4H)

We took out the EQHs formed on the previous move down and then dumped back to the downside, sweeping the previous low. Right now we're holding just above it.

Today is Saturday, which means volume will likely stay dead across the market, but in terms of overall structure, I’m still looking for a sweep of the Previous Weekly Low sitting at 78.17k.

We also have liquidity resting below the weekly low which should ideally get taken before any meaningful push back to the upside. If we do hold the PWL, then I’ll be looking for a retest of the LTF S/R level around 80.2k.

A rejection from 80.2k would keep us inside the bearish trend and likely send price lower towards the Monthly Open. If we lose the PWL, then it also opens the room for a direct move down into the Monthly Open region.

If we break above 80.2k, then the last major level of defense for bears sits around 81k. We have liquidity resting there along with some LTF OBs in that region. If bears fail to step in from there, then a sweep of the current highs comes into play.

Given how the overall structure looks right now, I’m personally expecting lower rather than higher, with the first downside target being the Current Monthly Open level at 76,269.

$BTC After securing some profits from my Scalp Short, I’m now looking for Potential Hedge long setups from the TP2 and TP3 levels.

The second TP level sits around the Previous Weekly Low region, which can easily turn into liquidity and result in price pushing even lower towards the Monthly Open region. Hence why I think it’s a risky area to be looking for longs from.

However, the TP3 region is where the Monthly Open sits. It also lines up with the previous range high, making it a much stronger key area to observe for a potential scalp long setup and hence why it's currently the idea POI I'm observing for taking a Hedge Long against the Current Short.

$BTC DXY is once again sitting in the same bottoming structure on a 10-year trend line while BTC pushes into a potential local high.

Historically, every time BTC has topped, DXY has rallied shortly after. Although BTC topped around 7 months ago, DXY has yet to see the upside expansion it has shown in previous cycles.

If this correlation continues to play out, BTC should begin transitioning lower while DXY starts the next leg higher.

Same patterns. Different cycle.

Stronger dollar = BTC weakness.

That move has created a strong bullish narrative into CPI

$BTC Wouldn’t be surprised if next week’s candle is bearish.

We just had the first move above April’s monthly high, typically where breakout longs start getting trapped at the start of a new month.

I think 78.5K gets tested, with 74–75K also in play. After a 5 week climb, the structure looks primed for a a proper retest.

$BTC The PA on BTC is not exactly clean right now, but USDT. D looks way better in comparison when it comes to understanding where we currently stand.

USDT. D has tapped into the Imbalance zone we were targeting for a potential local bottom. I believe we still have one more push towards the upside remaining before it transitions into a broader downtrend.

Now when USDT. D Goes Up, Crypto Goes Down.

What I’m looking for next week is some sort of bullish retest on USDT. D. If we respect the previous weekly lows and this Imbalance zone, then it will be an opportunity for us to swing back into a short on BTC.

From here onward, I’m looking for a retest of 8.205% at minimum. Ideally it should sweep the current highs and tap somewhere into the 9.477%-10.416% region.

However, given the historical behavior of USDT. D around significant highs, it wouldn’t surprise me if we fail to push that high and end up forming a lower high instead

$BTC People are once again calling for the bottom way too early.

We are now 212 days into the bear market, which isn’t even two-thirds of the average duration, and sentiment is already starting to flip bullish again.

It’s the same thing every cycle and yet people are still falling into this trap over and over again.

We see a relief rally, euphoria returns, and people begin calling for an early bottom, exactly as we’re seeing now.

But the reality is that many sign of a true bottom formation are still missing. For example repeated sweeps of lows, a confirmed shift in market structure on higher timeframes such as the weekly or total capitulation.

Of course, I’m aware that cycles change over time and that historical data isn’t something we can rely on 100%.

But believing that the bottom was already in after just four months would imply that this cycle bottomed nearly three times faster than any previous Bitcoin cycle.

I still believe that we’ll eventually go lower and that the bottom hasn’t formed yet.

The only way my view changes is if price invalidates bearish HTF structure with a break above $97k.

$BTC On the 30M, we appear to be inside a Three Falling Peaks pattern. The new daily candle has just opened, and we rejected from the top trend-line of this falling channel.

The measured move for the next leg down should take us into the previous monthly high region around 75.9k.

We would need to see acceptance below that level for a bearish breakout from this pattern and continuation towards the 73k region.

On the other hand, if we get a bullish breakout here, then we will likely move back up to fill some of the imbalance created yesterday on this drop.

My first POI to the upside for a bearish retest is the 77.7k-78.2k region, where we have an untapped wick acting as liquidity.

I won’t be adding further, and my SSL remains unchanged.

It either closes above 84K and invalidates my position, or it reaches my TP. There will be no adjustments.

My Next $BTC Plan

Price is currently testing a key HTF resistance zone, which also aligns with the 0.5 Fib level, making it a high-confluence area for potential shorts.

Given this confluence, I’m looking to re-enter my swing short here to target the final leg down.

The first area, where I plan to take partials, is $70K. This level is not only a major HTF support to the downside, but also where a large liquidity cluster is currently sitting.

After that, I’ll look to take additional profits at the range lows around $66K. This level has been defended by buyers multiple times in the past and remains an area where a bounce is likely.

The final target is the capitulation wick around $60K, which still remains unfilled.

This idea becomes invalid on a confirmed close above the blue box (resistance zone).

Kelp DAO appears to have been exploited for $293 MILLION in the last hour, making it the biggest DeFi hack of 2026.

And it's far from being the only one this month.

Over $600M stolen from DeFi in the last 2 weeks across over 10 different protocols, and AI is only making it easier for hackers.

> Kelp DAO: attacker exploited the LayerZero bridge to drain 116,500 rsETH ($293M), then used it as collateral on Aave to borrow ETH, leaving Aave with bad debt as $AAVE dumps.

> Drift Protocol: $285M drained by North Korean hackers using AI powered social engineering, they spent months building trust with insiders before executing in 12 minutes.

> Rhea Finance: $18M stolen through fake token pools that tricked the protocol's oracle into approving withdrawals.

Still looking super bullish here on the daily timeframe.
Ultimately expecting higher prices.

Counting price action across all timeframes is pretty tricky, so I think it's likely a Wave 3 to the upside here.

Internal Wave 1 complete - looking for either up from here or one more small internal low to retest that .382 fib.

Bearish argument is an ABC up complete, which is also possible here.

Another thing to note - we are still at range highs. Mostly low timeframe scalping for me at the moment🤝

We swept the previous monthly high and likely completed Wave 5 here. Now I’m looking for an ABC correction towards the downside.

There are some EQLs formed around 74.4k, which are my primary target for this week. Once we break below the 73.3k level, a move back down into that region becomes highly likely.

That area will also act as the key bullish continuation zone for the week.

As of now, the trend is running into exhaustion, and it’s only a matter of time before we get the pullback that’s due.

Why is everyone targeting $80K+?

Here’s the answer:

The last major exhaustion gap formed around $84K over the weekend, right before the waterfall move down.

What most people are missing is this: back in 2022, we saw two very similar CME gaps.

- One took 290 days to fill
- The other took over 500 days

Right now, $BTC is following 2022 almost perfectly.

If that continues, it suggests the $84K gap won’t be filled anytime soon, likely months down the line.

And if that’s the case, it points to one thing:

The local top may be much closer than people think.

As much as I’m macro bullish on cycle continuation, this isn’t the place to blindly enter imo.

We’ve bounced 24% from the lows into a lot of resistance:
- local range high resistance (orange)
- previous local range high resistance (blue)
- the range low above us acting as resistance (black).

Waiting for
1) a reclaim of the lost range above
2) a sweep of the local lows (short-term altcoin longs)
3) or a base to form at the macro mid-range.

If we reclaim the lost range above us, I could see us sending towards the range highs. Patience.

The rhythm and duration of $BTC cycles are evolving.

The 4 year cycle is intact until it isn't.

Most people just aren’t noticing the subtle shifts.

Take a look at my chart and you’ll see that BTC keeps creating new ATHs sooner each cycle, which means recoveries happen faster.

At most, we’ve got 4–6 months left, then it’s likely straight up from there.

$BTC If the bulls can't retake the local range high at $72K, I think this scenario is still one to watch.

In the end it will likely come down to when and how the conflict in the middle east is resolved. The longer this takes, the harder risk assets will have it.

I'd definitely be a buyer in the $50Ks for long term spot accumulation. If we don't get it, that's fine too, I'll just look for strength instead.
