Sometimes you have to take any taxi on the way to your destination. Other times... you may not find a taxi at all and end up taking a crowded minibus, standing the whole way. If you can’t find a taxi for the entire journey, you’ll have to make multiple stops. In the end, you’ll still get there because it’s the destination that matters. And if you get it, you know I’m not really talking about transportation

I'm hosting Zero to Agent in Addis Ababa on April 25th. This is a global build week where we ship agents with v0 and Vercel. Will update you on exact hub I'll be using. This time, will try to make it IRL.

Attendees get $30 credit to build their agents. Once you finish building post it publicly on LinkedIn or Twitter with #ZerotoAgent. One person can only submit one agent. Submissions deadline is May 2. Voting begins on May 3 and ends on May 4th. Winners will be announced on May 5th.

During a deep conversation, a friend of mine said “Knowing red flags is making us intolerable.” It gave me pause because everywhere we look social media, videos, advices we’re told to spot red flags and leave at the first sign. Awareness is important, in the past many people stayed in harmful relationships simply because they didn’t know better. But now with constant exposure to 10 signs to leave man or how to spot red flags, we risk labeling even normal imperfections as threats. One mistake...one flaw...and we’re gone

relationships require patience and tolerance. Being too aware can make us quick to walk away instead of working through challenges. Working together to solve problem strengthen the relationship. Protecting yourself is vital but not every red flag is a deal breaker some are simply human flaws that can be understood and resolved. Balance lies in knowing which signs point to real harm and which are just part of being human

Today I spent hours trying to fix an issue with my virtual card but nothing worked. In the process I saw my stubbornness and refusal to give up yet I also realized that persistence isn’t always a virtue if the fight itself isn’t worth it. I could have stopped earlier and tried another way to get a new card and in the end that’s exactly what I did but not before wasting three hours that could have been spent on things that truly mattered. The truth is... not every battle deserves your energy, sometimes giving up isn’t weakness it’s wisdom. Knowing when to pivot, when to pause and when to let go saves you from burnout and allows you to invest your strength in the battles that truly shape your growth

Procrastination doesn’t always mean the task isn’t important. Sometimes it’s the opposite, you care so deeply that you hesitate. You become overwhelmed unsure where to start afraid of messing it up. Deep down you fear that if you give it everything and still fail it will prove you weren’t enough. So you delay convincing yourself that failing after rushed work is easier to accept than failing after trying your hardest.

The truth is, procrastination is often a mask for fear and perfectionism. You wait for the perfect situation, the perfect energy, the perfect plan but perfection never comes. Maybe it doesn’t have to be perfect. Some days you give 30%, other days 70%, and together they add up to 100. Progress is built in pieces. It's only 5 minutes right? So read 1 page of the book instead of scrolling. It’s better to do something imperfectly than to do nothing at all because small steps forward are always greater than standing still

I’ve been vibecodng a project called https://cramly3.created.app/ the calm cramming companion. It started from the feeling we all know too well: cramming before exams, the stress, the anxiety, the endless countdown. I wanted to turn that chaos into something structured, supportive, and even calming.

Right now, Cramly already has:
✨Exam countdowns so you always know how close the next test is.
✨A Pomodoro timer (50/10) to balance focus and rest.
✨A progress tracker to see how far you’ve come.
✨A study journal where you can write about the stress, the anxiety, or even the small wins along the way.

This is what the current version looks like, simple but functional. The AI study planner isn’t working yet, but once I get through tomorrow’s mid exam, I’ll fix the UI, make sure the AI is fully functional, and add more features to make it even better

I built around six versions of it, but this one is the most functional. I’ve been juggling Google accounts like a circus act. I created it hoping it would help me study within a few hours, though it ended up taking three. By the end of the day, I had six new Google accounts, spent three hours vibe coding and still haven’t prepared for my exam

I’ve tried many note taker AIs sometimes you’d even see four bots in my meetings but the best one I found is https://tldv.cello.so/3HLkOYKPCTh, which records automatically, records video, transcribes, summarizes, and lets you ask questions about the meeting. I wish I had it last semester for my online classes. it doesn’t transcribe Amharic yet, but at least it records everything. And if you’re looking for a project idea, build a Chrome extension note taker that transcribes Amharic and English seamlessly. if you make it, send it my way because I’d love to try it

Each experience in your life gives you something. The next time a similar situation happens, you don’t always know if it’s your gut speaking or your past trauma echoing. You become overly cautious, analyzing every move, interpreting every detail and sometimes your heart grows cold. Negativity can creep in because your past experiences weren’t good.

But just because you’ve had bad experiences doesn’t mean good ones won’t come. Learn to use the pain as information, not as a prison. Let those lessons guide you but don’t let them harden you. The real growth comes when you take what hurt you and use it to navigate new environments with wisdom instead of fear
