Choosing Makon was definitely the right decision. Iโm truly thankful to my teachers for their endless support, patience, and guidance every step of the way.
From the very beginning, I knew I wouldnโt study with anyone other than Mr. Yoqubjon. At first, I was completely lost and didnโt understand what was going on or how to use Desmos at all, but thanks to his detailed explanations, I eventually became very confident with it. He used to give us extremely difficult equations to solve โ to the point where actual SAT questions started to feel easy. Even his phrase โัััั-ัััั ะฟะพะฝััะฝะพโ somehow became comforting while solving difficult problems.
His teaching methods were planned so carefully that by the end of the course, you would know how to solve equations both on paper and using Desmos. In one word, he is truly the Desmos King.
I also want to express my huge gratitude to Mrs. Ziyoda. Over the course of more than four months, she literally raised my English level from almost zero to a 700 score. In the beginning, I had major problems understanding grammar, and it kept pulling my score down. However, thanks to her detailed explanations and strict discipline, I was able to achieve the result I have now.
Her motto was basically: โDonโt eat, donโt drink, but make sure you finish your homework.โ Mrs. Ziyoda would literally stay with us until the learning center closed and dedicate all of her free time to helping us prepare.
What I appreciated most was that she never let us give up, even when we were tired or doubting ourselves, and always reminded us that consistency and hard work pay off.
