I have 2 weeks before my first NIS Program exam, so my approach is like this:
• First week (this week) for active recall and concepts consolidation. A bit more stress and effort into understanding the very basics. I have Math + Physics + Computer Science combination, so this is genuinely about understanding the nature and applying my knowledge
• Second week will be much chiller work through practice problems. I plan to get more sleep, stress less about the contents and be focused on executing every single type of tasks.

Supplements, food, and drink rules.
• 1g of L-Tyrosine & 200mg of L-Theanine, paired with caffeine (usually not latte/capuccino, but bumble or americano)
• Supplements above need to be taken RIGHT AFTER your awake:)
• Zinc, Magnesium, D3, and Calcium for good sleep (breakfast & dinner)
• Creatine for brain energy & workout
• 3-4 liters of water a day, high protein daily

📝Exam tips I'd personally follow during this exam period

1)Create a mastery board

You have to understand that the way you know Topic 1 [eg Gravitational field] is different from the way you know Topic 2 [Quantum physics]. So just 'review & pray' doesn't really work here. Track your understanding and knowledge with criteria (you can create them yourself!)

2)Avoid procrastination

The mistake I see most of any exam takers make is to focus on hours. The marginal difference of X more hours put into studies slowly decreases, and at some point, your drill sessions may be no more than just 'warming up.' If you feel the topic is easy, start reviewing something else.

3)Start and end sessions with active recall

Start your sessions with remembering everything you know about the topic. Then fill the gaps first! These gaps are your potential scores lost. After a study session, briefly compress everything you've learned in your head or on paper to see what you've actually achieved.

Bonus tip: Trust the process

You're not alone on this, so sharing your feelings with your friends might help. Understand that the capabilities of different people are very different, so don't be discouraged if your progress isn't tangible yet.

✍️Most of us are entering their exams / finals / midterms season, so I genuinely wish all the best to everyone!

A few rules:
• Practice & active recall >>> passive reading
• Mindset does 70% of heavy lifting while you prepare. Never lose hope and always believe in yourself & God's plans!
• Rest & sleep are as important as the preparation itself. Don't forget about it
• Talk to your loved ones! Mom or dad, siblings or friends, they all give you energy to overcome this.

A difficult Writing Task 1 Task + Sample✨

The process diagram breaks down how a modern household waste landfill is built, used, and closed.

Overall, the process involves the construction of such a system, which involves creating an isolated hole for waste and adding a drainage system; its usage, showing how liquid wastes are stored in it; and its closure for safe storage.

When it comes to constructing the system, a big hole needs to be dug in the natural rock. Next, this hole is isolated with clay and synthetic material to prevent the waste from touching the ground. The drainage pipes and drainage tank are placed to complete the system.

When using the system, all the household waste, which is often in the form of liquid, is stored in the hole and carried using special machines. To close the system safely, all the gases are being removed. Ultimately, a layer of clay covers the waste masses, preventing the gas from spreading.

Unpopular opinion, but still: you don't need any external push to start doing something.

We spend most of our time wondering: okay, is it a right time to start doing something? The answer is yes. However, you shouldn't even ask this question, you should start doing something. Doing something real and tangible.

Remove the friction that prevents you from doing something. Stop doing fake productivity stuff: making 1727291 plans about doing something today, tomorrow, etc.

Choose 1 thing you can do right now to get 1 inch closer to something you want to achieve and put some work. This 1 small thing is what separates you from obtaining the thing you really want.

Also PLEASE don't forget about rest. Dedicate at least 1 day a week to fully rest from your work and study.

April-May is the time that is filled with many exams and hard work, so be patient. May this period be easy and fulfilling for you'all🙏

I've been teaching IELTS Writing for almost 2 years...

I can't say that I teach solely IELTS Writing anymore. Every single lesson with me is an attempt to uncover the logic, way of thinking, causalities my students create. Yes I have to teach them to make it right.

But most miss part where a teacher learns from the student. I learn so much after every single lesson with any student, and I'm genuinely so excited about this experience.

I work with many talented and hardworking students, and, believe me or not, I sometimes feel like I'm the one who should say 'Thank you' for new knowledge.

A good teacher will teach new things to their students. A great teacher will learn new things from them
