Today, I had a great time at the Break the Pattern: Vibecoding Hackathon event (I didn’t take enough pics 🙈).

It was my first event, and honestly, a fresh and exciting beginning.
I met many potential people from different backgrounds, wow the energy was 😌. I learnt a lot frl.

And guess what happened… our team project made it to 3rd place 🥳🎉🎉.....as a beginner, this means a lot to me. እግዚአብሔር ymesgen 🙏

Hey guys, How was ur day? My day wasn't productive, thanks to a teacher🫤, to mazeberareq my schedule. However, I completed day 30🥳. It was about handling exceptions using blocks such as "try: ", "except: ", "else: ", and "finally: ". And also, I learnt about "JSON". Finally, modified yesterday's project, password manager, to save newly generated passwords for specific websites, search existing passwords, and handle errors if users request a file that doesn't exist.

If God's will, I'm having a great day tmrw btw. Hope for u too✨🤍.... may your night be as Jacob's.

So, today I completed day29. Again it's about Tkinter. I learnt some additional methods, like popups to prompt the user, and finally built a simple password manager which generates a password and saves them in another file.

Today was a good, steady day😊, glory to God. I completed Day 27 of the course, which was an introduction to GUI using Tkinter. I also learned about *args and **kwargs, new ones. The day's project was a "miles-to-kilometers converter". built it, simple adele😁. I've also started #Week2, which is about loops, 👀 already learnt, but I’m going through it again as both teachers have different approaches.

These days, I dedicate time to these👆 at night since I am studying lectures and doing assignments during the day😮‍💨.

Let's just do our best😜. Keep hustling on whatever you're in eshi🤍

My name is Mahlet Tegete. I'm a second-year IS student at Addis Ababa University.
I've learned some HTML, CSS, and a bit of JavaScript before… but I stopped. Not because I lost interest, but because I didn't have the setup: no PC, no consistent access.

Now I'm starting again.

This time, I'm learning from my phone and building whenever I get access to lab computers, sometimes even going to other campuses just to use one.
This channel is my diary.
A place where I'll share what I learn, what confuses me, ideas that come to my mind, and the real experience of trying to become a developer like this.

Every single day there’s that hidden wish that classes get canceled, work closes, exams postponed, deadlines extended, A craving for an extra day between Sunday and Monday. But the truth is more time doesn’t always mean more progress. When procrastination becomes habit, we fall in love with chaos. It’s risky, it’s draining, but it gives that adrenaline rush like an F1 driver by submitting an assignment at 11:59pm.

Deadlines, as stressful as they are, become the best productivity tool. Anti procrastination vedios often feel more unproductive than the work itself. So maybe the answer is to create fake deadlines to trick ourselves into the rush, even when the real deadline is far away. Because sometimes pressure is the only spark that gets the engine running
