🏁 SEASON 1: START DATE ANNOUNCEMENT

The long awaited launch of the first season with weekly competitive races and rewards will take place on May 4!

⚡ HOW THE FIRST SEASON WILL WORK

Season 1 will last 10 weeks - from May 4 to July 12.

Each week inside the season is a separate cycle with its own result snapshot and rewards.

Here’s a reminder of how seasons work:

🔸 during the week, players make runs, collect GEM, and build distance
🔸 climb the leaderboard
🔸 at the end of the week, the results are locked
🔸 after that, rewards are calculated and paid out
🔸 then a new week begins with a new chance to show your result

Even if you don’t break into the top in the first week, the next week gives you a fresh chance to enter the race, improve your result, and claim even more rewards.

📊 WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE LEADERBOARD

After seasons launch, the leaderboard section will have 3 main modes:

DAY - results for the current day
WEEK - the current weekly race
SEASON - the overall result within the current season

This will make the competition structure clearer: you’ll be able to track your daily progress, compete within the week, and see your overall position in the season.

🎁 REWARDS FOR ACTIVE STAGE 0 PLAYERS

We decided to separately reward the players who actively played, tested Travis Run, and helped the project during Stage 0.

50,000 TRVS will be distributed among all leaderboard participants in the ALL TIME section, proportionally to the amount of GEM collected.

This is our way of recognizing those who were with the project at the early stage - running, testing mechanics, and helping us reach the launch of the full seasonal model.

The distribution will take place next Monday after the leaderboard switches to the seasons format.

In the next post, we’ll break down exactly how to earn TRVS rewards in the weekly competitions.

🔋 BATTERY MECHANIC IN TRAVIS RUN

Season development is now in full swing, and as we move closer to launch, we’re starting to reveal important details of the upcoming competitive system.

One of these mechanics is the battery system.

After the start of the seasons, only a limited number of runs per day will count toward the leaderboard.
All other game sessions are not going anywhere: you will still be able to play, farm GEM, test boosts and mechanics, but those runs will no longer count toward the leaderboard.

So the logic will be as follows:

🟠 the first X runs per day count toward the rankings
🟠 all following runs remain playable, but without affecting the leaderboard
🟠 the number of runs is reset every 24 hours
🟠 additional attempts can be purchased through a separate boost in the shop

Why we decided to introduce this mechanic:

✔️ the ranking becomes fairer
A player is evaluated not only by the number of hours spent in the game, but also by how well they use their strongest attempts

✔️ it reduces the advantage of those who can play for many hours in a row
This makes seasonal competition more balanced

✔️ it increases the value of every ranked run and adds more strategy:
when to play, which boosts to use, and how to manage your attempts

✔️ the leaderboard becomes cleaner and more interesting
The strongest results carry more weight

✔️ it helps make the seasons clearer, more manageable, and more competitive

In a few days, the start date of the first season will be announced, and a countdown timer to the launch will appear in the Mini App.

This will be a direct signal that the final stage of preparation is already underway and the launch is getting closer.

🗓 SEASON DEVELOPMENT HAS BEGUN

This week, we started working on one of the most anticipated Travis Run modules — the season system.

Once this functionality is completed, we will be able to officially announce the launch date of the first season, including weekly TRVS rewards.

Right after that, a countdown timer to the start of Season 1 will appear inside the Mini App.

🔥 The launch is getting closer

Here’s a reminder of how the in-game reward economy works:

There will be a total of 15 seasons, with 10 weeks in each season.
A total of 35 000 000 TRVS has been allocated to the game reward pool.

Out of this amount:

🟠 90% (31 500 000 TRVS) will be distributed through weekly rewards to players
🟠 10% (3 500 000 TRVS) will be distributed through in-game promo campaigns and additional ecosystem mechanics

How the weekly reward pool will be distributed:

✅ 60% of the pool will be distributed among all users who collect more than 1 GEM during the week, proportionally to the number of GEM they earned
✅ 40% of the pool will be distributed among a selected top group of players based on distance covered, proportionally to their best run distance

This means that every player can participate in two separate TRVS reward distributions every week.

All earned rewards will be paid out every Monday before 12:00 UTC to the wallet inside the Mini App.

At the same time, we are also beginning a full-scale preparation of the marketing campaign.

The next major milestone is the completion of the season module, the launch of the countdown timer, and the official announcement of the season start date.

The Missions section will become available this week.

🎯 MISSIONS IN TRAVIS RUN ARE NOW AVAILABLE

There is now another way to earn more GEM in Travis Run besides regular runs.

Every day, 5 new game missions await you. Complete the tasks, visit the section after your game sessions, and claim additional rewards.

Now, progression in the game is built even more not only around distance and runs, but also around activity, engagement, and daily participation. This adds another layer to the gameplay, making it more interesting, deeper, and more rewarding for active players.

In addition to daily missions, the section also includes one-time missions. These are tasks that can only be rewarded once. We will continue expanding this section with new mechanics, new tasks, and new reward formats. Ahead are missions not only from Travis Run, but also from partners, which means this section will become even more important within the overall ecosystem over time.

✨ NEW MECHANICS IN TRAVIS RUN

We continue expanding the game mechanics and making the gameplay more interesting, deeper, and more diverse.

After the update, new elements have appeared directly on the track:

❣️ x2 and x3 GEM multipliers - increase the value of collected coins by 2x and 3x respectively
❣️ magnet - attracts coins. All coins within the visible game screen radius are automatically pulled toward Travis
❣️ x2 distance gain - doubles the rate at which distance is accumulated without increasing Travis’s speed

New boosts have also been added:

🛡 revive - after game over, you can continue the run. Each next revive within the same run costs 2x more than the previous one
🛡 a separate boost for collisions with vinyl records
🛡 the minigame with x1.5-x3 GEM multiplier has now been moved into a separate boost

Each boost and item now has a clearer role, and the gameplay itself has become more varied.

Going forward, the shop, boosts, and game mechanics will continue to expand with new elements. A lot of exciting things are ahead!

🛒 THE TRAVIS RUN SHOP IS OPEN

The shop has now been moved out of the game itself into a separate section of the Mini App, so that the system of items and boosts becomes not just part of the gameplay, but a full element of the TRVS ecosystem and a part of the project’s economy.

Referral rewards for shop purchases are now live as well. As a reminder: for all purchases made with TRVS, referral distribution applies:
70% of each purchase is distributed across 15 levels down, while the undistributed remainder is sent to the BURN wallet and burned once a week.

An important note regarding Stage 0: all purchases that were made with GEM during the Stage 0 phase have been reset with the launch of the shop.

Stage 0 was created as a phase for getting familiar with the game, testing mechanics, and preparing for the next phase of the project, which is now approaching. Purchases made with GEM were part of that introductory period.
Now Travis Run is moving to a new model, where the shop becomes a full part of the TRVS economy.

Alongside the shop launch, a game update is now also available:

🟠 swipe controls have been improved
🟠 a number of bugs have been fixed
🟠 new track elements have been added (we’ll cover them in a separate post)
🟠 new boosts have been added (we’ll cover them in a separate post)
🟠 if internet connection is lost or the connection to Telegram drops during a long run, results are no longer lost. After re-entering the game, all data is delivered to the system correctly.

In addition, starting from last week, the Telegram bot now includes notifications for key operations:

✅ notifications for all TRVS transactions
✅ notifications for referral payouts
✅ notifications about new referrals, including users coming from marketing distribution

We're moving the shop from the game into a dedicated mini-app section with full item purchases for TRVS. Reminder: all TRVS purchases follow the referral distribution — 70% is distributed across 15 levels down, and the undistributed remainder is burned.
At the same time, we're expanding the boost lineup and in-game items and adding new game mechanics.

⚠️ Important note about current boosts and GEM.

Stage 0 was designed for you to get familiar with the game and its mechanics. GEM boosts were part of this introductory phase. When the full TRVS shop launches, current boosts will be reset, and the GEM counter will be cleared before seasons start. 🟠 Extended jump and slide duration by 20% - fewer accidental collisions
