Eid Mubarak from the Association of Islamic Mental Health Specialists (AIMS)
Eid Mubarak to our respected members and to Muslims across the globe.
On this blessed occasion of Eid, the Association of Islamic Mental Health Specialists (AIMS) extends heartfelt greetings filled with du’a, compassion, and gratitude. May Allah ﷻ accept our acts of worship, purify our intentions (niyyah), and grant us hearts that are tranquil (Sakinah), resilient, and anchored in remembrance (dhikr).
From an Islamic psychology perspective, Eid is not only a celebration of completion, but a renewal of the self (nafs)- a moment to integrate spiritual growth with emotional wellbeing. It invites us to embody balance (mizan), mercy (raḥmah), and excellence (ihsan) in how we care for ourselves and one another. May this Eid strengthen our connection to Allah ﷻ, foster inner healing, and deepen our collective commitment to holistic wellbeing of the mind, heart, and soul.
We honour the tireless efforts of mental health professionals, scholars, caregivers, and community leaders who serve with wisdom, ethical integrity, and prophetic compassion. May Allah ﷻ place barakah in your work, protect you from burnout, and reward you for every act of service that alleviates distress and restores hope.
As we celebrate, let us remember those who are struggling, grieving, displaced, or marginalised. May Allah ﷻ grant them relief (faraj), dignity, and ease, and make us instruments of support, justice, and healing.
Eid Mubarak.
May your days be filled with peace, your hearts with light, and your lives with purpose.
With dua and warm regards,
The Association of Islamic Mental Health Specialists (AIMS)
