🚙 Smart goes back to its roots – meet the new Smart 2

The production version is expected to debut this fall.

• power bank functionality – capable of powering external devices and even charging other EVs
ℹ️ The car will be produced by the Mercedes-Benz and Geely joint venture, with manufacturing based in China. The big question now is whether the new Smart can compete on price with Chinese EVs like the BYD Dolphin Surf and how European tariffs may affect sales.
📍The production model is set to premiere in October at the Paris Motor Show.

🚁 A hypercar for the skies: could Sigma change private aviation?
📰 British startup AltoVolo has tested a prototype of its Sigma hybrid aircraft — a futuristic HyperTOL with a projected range of up to 800 km and a cruising speed of 354 km/h.
🔎 Unlike traditional eVTOLs, Sigma uses a 1,600+ hp hybrid powertrain combining electric propulsion and fuel. Designed for two passengers, it is also claimed to be 80% quieter than a helicopter.
📆 A full-scale version is expected by the end of 2026. Certification is still ahead, but Sigma is already being called one of the most ambitious projects in next-generation aviation.

🚖 Uber launches robotaxis in Europe with Pony AI

📍 Testing is already underway on the streets of Zagreb, and soon users will be able to book driverless rides directly in the Uber app.
How it works:

• Verne manages the fleet
• Pony AI delivers the autonomous driving tech
The service will use the Arcfox Alpha T5 electric vehicle (developed with BAIC). The plan is to scale to thousands of robotaxis and expand across Europe.
🧲 The race is on: Waymo is preparing a launch in London, while Volkswagen is gearing up in Germany.
