Hy Forex Traders,
I need your input on this.
I had this trade on $GBPUSD from last week.
A 5.62RR trade setup. It met all the criteria I look out for before taking a trade and executing it.
The trade triggered last week and with market close, I was up 4RR.
Well as at yesterday being Monday, I was up 5RR with just few pips to tp.
At that moment, I was confident price would get to my target, so I paid less interest.
I woke up this morning to sl. And truthfully, it was just another trading day for me.
What would you have done differently if you were in my position??
Would you have trailed your sl?
Would you have broken even?
Would you have taken partials even after being confident your trade was heading to target?
Would you have closed everything completely?

The phrase “burn the ships” is most famously linked to Hernán Cortés in 1519 during his expedition to what is now Mexico.

One of the many reasons why I started learning how to make money while still in school was the situation of the country.
I looked around me, there were more jobless graduates than employed ones. Even the employed ones were not paid well or had to pay heavily to get a “fair” paying job
I didn’t want to graduate and keep relying on my parents for basic things as little as data subscriptions. I started worrying about my life after graduation even before I gained admission into uni.
School is important, but in Nigeria today, your certificate should not be your only plan.
While you’re in school, learn a skill that can make you money:
Graphic design.
Writing.
Video editing.
Coding.
Makeup.
Hairdressing.
Photography.
Social media management.
Forex.
Baking.
Nail tech.
Fashion.
Data Analysis.
Anything to add up to your career path.
It’s difficult combining school stress with work, but you can do it. Don’t wait until after graduation to start figuring life out.
Many graduates are still searching for jobs, but students who learnt valuable skills while in school are already making money, paying their bills, helping their families or even creating jobs for others.
Your certificate can open doors, but your skills can keep those doors open.
Use your free time wisely. Spend less time scrolling and more time learning something that can change your future.
Graduate with a degree and a source of income. That combination is powerful.

If Trading hasn’t made you cry or rather weep, I don’t think you’ve started.
There was this period I lost my funded account, I sat down on the floor and weeped like a baby. If you saw me, you will think I lost a loved one. But it was just trading oo😅.
You know the funny thing? 😅
After crying, I cleaned my eyes and opened trading view to analyze for my other accounts.
Yes, that’s how badly I wanted it to work out for me.

If you have a working strategy, please stick to it.
You should only study more to find loopholes in your strategy and know how to work with or on them.
Jumping from one strategy to another, mixing up a lot of strategies may do you more harm than good.
Most of us had a working system, something that can get 3RR consistently, but left it to chase 10RR and the likes of it (which is not totally bad). Only to find out, the new strategy is not as consistent as the old one.
As much as being knowledgeable is good, too much knowledge and information can turn out to be a heavy burden for you if you’re not careful.
