Nurshod studied in online with 3 amazing teachers and eventually got 1500 in his second attempt. Check out his story, his battle, his reflection here:

First of all I should give some credits to Mr Behruz , Mr Avazbek , and Ms Ruma. During my journey in SATASHKENT, they were very friendly and supportive with me, creating deep connection between sensei and fellow student like me. Despite my social awkwardness, I enjoyed talking with them, which shows how professional they are.

Anyway, let us talk about my SAT journey. I started preparing in the beginning September 2025. My basic knowledge in math was very low, except little bit of algebra. My English was not good either: despite the fact that I had IELTS 7.5, I was not really capable in SAT reading. As a result, I started from zero.

Mr. Behruz (math teacher) and Mr Avazbek (English teacher) were my first mentors; they gave all the knowledge that I needed in just 3 months. I should say that their systematic approach was very helpful that I was able with zero knowledge learn grammar and topics in math that seemed hard for me at first (geometry, trigonometry, polynomials).

After 3 months, came December exam, and I got 1410 (ERBW: 660 math: 750). The reason why I got lower than I expected (1500+) was not connected with gap of knowledge: it was more about my mindset and critical thinking.

For that reason, I started new English and Manhattan course in January, which were both conducted by Ms Ruma. I decided to skip math, for I was sure that I could do 800. Ms Ruma was very good teacher and still is. As a mentor, she was very professional and responsible while being also friendly with us. Learning from her helped me to understand how to approach each question: it did not help me to gain new knowledge but changed my way of thinking.

In March, 1500 came out. I was happy because I did not expect it. Honestly, It was not my big goal to get high SAT but still I was happy that I made it somehow. It was great pleasure to work with Ms Ruma who is mental monster when it comes to positive energy: she supported me all the way with Mr Behruz and Mr Avaz.

In the end, I want to give you some advices from my mentors that I think were very important.

Do not memorize math but learn it –Mr Behruz (Uzbek Isaac Newton)
SAT is just a small step in you life journey- Mr Avazbek (eastern philosopher)
Let us just enjoy this shit- Ms Ruma (Positivity master)

Our student Elbek got into KYOTO UNIVERSITY in JAPAN WITH A 100% TUITION SCHOLARSHIP.🎉🎉

57th in QS RANKINGS worldwide.

🇯🇵 2nd in Japan.

1st Uzbek in history🇺🇿(known to us)

They accept only 1–2 students per year to the faculty, with a 2% acceptance rate. And our boy Elbek did it.

Elbek studied under Yale Community at https://t.me/satashkent in 2024.

One of the strongest students https://t.me/satashkent has produced, whose peers are now in leading positions in admissions.

Elbek was consistently advised by https://t.me/satashkent mentors and worked hard on his application.

He got rejected everywhere on his first try.

On his second try, with 🔓 https://t.me/unlock_admissions, he applied to colleges in Hong Kong, Japan, and the US.

So far, he has been accepted to:

— Chinese University of Hong Kong (100% tuition scholarship)
— Hong Kong University
— Kyoto University, Japan (100% tuition scholarship)

All are in the TOP 100.

“🙌Duke University in Kunshan” might be the destination of many Uzbek students for the past year.

However, Duke Kunshan surprised many of us in the early round of admissions.

❌They rejected almost all applicants who were otherwise qualified to study there.

Yet, we were blessed with one acceptance to Duke Kunshan University, with a 100% tuition scholarship, for Shokhruz.

For us, every single achievement carries meaning, because it directly impacts the lives of our students and community members.

Sugdiyona joined us near October and got 1350 on her first attempt. But she was not satisfied with her score and continued on her mission and got an impressive 1540 on her second attempt. Check out her story:

I started my SAT journey at the end of September with Mr. Jamshid Tursunov, not really knowing what to expect. At that stage, he helped me build my foundation and gave me many useful insights that shaped the way I approached the exam from the very beginning.

At first, SAT didn’t seem too complicated - just another exam you prepare for and pass. Reality was a bit different.

On December 6, 2025, I got my first result — 1350 (610 EBRW).
A solid score, but not the one I was aiming for. And deep down, I knew I hadn’t reached my limit yet. So I kept going.

In February, I continued my preparation with Mr. Jamshid Rasulov. Patterns became clearer, traps more predictable, and reading stopped feeling overwhelming.

You can attend every lesson and still stay at the same level if you don’t push yourself outside the classroom. The journey itself wasn’t strenuous, but it required consistency. Showing up on days when you don’t feel like studying, working through mistakes, and trusting the process.

Then, in March, I retook the SAT. I got 1540 (EBRW 750).

I’m truly grateful to both teachers:
Mr. Jamshid Tursunov for building my foundation, and Mr. Jamshid Rasulov for helping me reach a completely new level.

This journey taught me discipline. Honestly, my brain may still be recovering from all those reading passages.

Saidakbar first time came to SATashkent back in 2024. After that we have tried 3 times to achieve our goal, and finally we did it.

My SAT journey started in November last year at SATashkent, and from the first day, I felt that it would be more than just preparing for an exam. For three months, I studied with Asadbek aka and Abdulaziz aka, and I became part of a very supportive and friendly community. Asadbek aka wasn’t just a teacher—he really brought everyone together and made us feel like a team. We shared ideas, asked questions, and pushed each other to do better.

At the beginning, my math was quite weak, and Abdulaziz aka immediately noticed it. After lessons, we often stayed to go over the topics again until I really understood them. Step by step, I started improving. In the end, I got a decent score, but it wasn’t enough for the universities I dreamed of.

After the December exam, I faced a lot of rejections. It was a tough time, and I decided to take a break for about eight months. During that time, I applied to the Tashkent State University of Economics and started studying there. But deep inside, I knew I wasn’t finished yet. After attending classes for some time, I realized I still wanted to study abroad.

So, last November, I came back to SAT Tashkent again—with more motivation and a stronger goal. when I came back to SATashkent, it really became my second home once again. I studied math with Bronuriddin and English with Muhammadsodiq aka, and both were incredible teachers. Bronuriddin, with over 10 years of experience, helped me see every math problem clearly, adjusting his teaching to fit me. Muhammadsodiq aka, the most knowledgeable English teacher I know, broke down even the toughest questions so I could grasp them. We worked hard, but in December, I still didn’t get the score I wanted because I didn’t have enough time—just a month and a half. But I didn’t give up. I kept going, and by March, with Ollonazar aka, leading our math group and Muhammadsodiq aka guiding English, I felt the difference. SATashkent once again became my second home—a place where I felt motivated, supported, and where I grew. In the end, I scored 1490—just 10 points shy of my dream score. And now, thanks to Asadbek aka again, I’m applying to universities in Europe, still surrounded by the same amazing support system that helped me get this far.

🇺🇸 CONNECTICUT COLLEGE has been conquered.

Jamshidbek ( https://t.me/Rasulov_Jamshidbek), our beloved community member and mentor, has been accepted to Connecticut College with a $337,000 scholarship for four years of study.

He joined https://t.me/satashkent in February 2023, where he prepared for the SAT and eventually scored 1560.

During that time, he also prepared for college admissions, enrolling in different program, and working consistently on his profile.

He was rejected for two straight years by the colleges he applied to.

Through https://t.me/unlock_admissions and https://t.me/satashkent, we supported him in anyway we could.

And he did not give up. He continued to try again, kept improving his applications, and kept shooting his shot, until he finally made it into Connecticut College.

🥳🥳🥳We congratulate Jamshidbek on his acceptance.

His consistency and work ethic showed that he was already a strong applicant in his first year, but sometimes success takes time.

It took three years to reach this moment, and he earned every part of it.

🇺🇸LAFAYETTE COLLEGE has been conquered.

Now, as we are finalizing our admissions cycle, we have been blessed with the Early Decision acceptance to Lafayette College.

Samandar is our student. He comes from Vodiy and is fueled to study engineering at Lafayette College.

His financial aid covers 99% of his expenses for four years of study.

He prepared his essays and application with our mentors.

We want to thank Samandar, his parents, his teachers, and the mentors who all contributed to his success.

Eventually, we are all contributing to the greater good. If Samandar serves the society he is in, bringing innovation and change, we know we have achieved our result.

Sarvinoz joined us in April, and throughout her journey she dedicated herself fully to improving her academic skills. In her second attempt on the December exam, she finally achieved her dream score — check out her story:

Desire to take the SAT appeared when, while preparing my university applications, I saw that the SAT was a required test that had to be included in the documents. at that moment, I urgently started looking for centers that taught SAT, but almost everyone offered only IELTS. then one day I came across the SATashkent's instagram page. at that time, I didn’t even have IELTS. I only had basic English at around a B1–B2 level and school-level math knowledge that I had completely forgotten over the previous two years.
my journey at SATashkent began in April and lasted for eight months. I started with very weak results, only a few correct answers in both Math and English at first, I took the Pre-SAT course, and then, month by month, I gradually moved on to full SAT preparation.
I took the SAT exam twice. in November, I scored 1330 (620 in English and 710 in Math), which was actually a very solid result for my first attempt. at the time of registration, I was told that I was not fully ready yet and that I needed at least one more month of practice. however, I consciously decided to take the exam twice. the first time to experience the exam process itself, understand the atmosphere, and feel my emotional state during the test, and the second time ,the main one , to take it with confidence and full control.
from the very beginning of this journey, Mr. Abdulqodir was with me ,from Pre-SAT all the way to the final exam. I truly consider him one of the best math teachers. he does not simply teach how to solve problems efficiently using Desmos, but helps students understand the true mechanism of mathematics: how to feel it and think logically. what I appreciate the most is his calmness and patience: he would explain the same problem with the same numbers multiple times because I either did not understand it or simply forgot how to solve it. thanks to his hard work and support, I achieved a score of 790 in Math.
for English, I had two teachers. first, Mr. Muhammadali taught me the entire Pre-SAT course and built a very strong foundation, teaching me how to properly analyze texts and questions while creating a very positive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. what impressed me the most was his support on the day of my exam. I initially arrived at the wrong test center, and he helped me immensely. Even though he was not working at that time, he came to support all his students and, at the same time, truly helped me in a very stressful moment. I was genuinely surprised and deeply grateful.
later, I studied with Mr. Iskandar. he is not only a great teacher but also an excellent mentor who guided me not only in English but also gave valuable advice on applying to foreign universities, motivating and supporting me throughout the process.
as a result, in just one month, I significantly improved my skills and in December scored 1540 on the SAT: 750 in English and 790 in Math. I achieved this result thanks to these teachers. their patience, support, and belief in me throughout my entire journey.

I want to express my thankfulness for SATashkent community, for everything. I’m glad I prepared exactly here and nowhere else, and want to highlight that studying program, teachers, and platform primarily contributed not only to my results but my personality and whole life maybe. For several months this place became my second home, and people here — my second family.

I started my SAT prep at SATashkent in August. I could say that I was taking the SAT because I am ambitious and hardworking, because I have a clear goal, or because I wanted to prove what I am capable of — but none of these would be entirely true. In fact, the first thought that came to my mind was that it would be great to hang out with my hommies and do something useful for myself at the same time.

It’s important to me to cover the topics fully and deeply, even if it will take more time. I will never regret sticking with my teachers and never changing my group. You can’t even imagine how I feel about them. My math teacher, Mr. Bekhruz, is an incredibly smart, interesting, and understanding person. He explained literally everything so well and made us feel comfortable asking even the dumbest questions to understand things even better. I truly admire the way he teaches. My EBRW teacher, Ms. Farzona, is a master of her subject and a person with the best sense of humor. Literally everything she taught helped me get my 750 — even the smallest things she said had great potential on my exam, even though I wasn’t always a role model student. It was never boring studying here, every lesson was full of pleasant work and silly jokes that made my day little prettier.

Finally, after three months of course and 1 of self studying, tonight is the night, my first (and probably the last) SAT exam the next morning. I was pretty optimistic and hyperactive because of caffeine, but you should saw my face when I thought that 2nd module in math was too easy, it was, but not for everyone ig. When I opened my score I cried, not really because of the 1500+, but because I saw what I’m capable of if I want to and my work was paid off.

They were really supportive and helped me with tips that made a big difference on test day.

Teacher Farzona helped me work on my weak topics and gave me a lot of practice tests to improve.

Teacher Rahmonjon was always really invested in making sure we understood the math topics he explained.

He gave a lot of tips about Desmos, which I used a lot.

So yeah, I’m really grateful for their work. I will always remember the time I spent with them and my classmates.
