Hey heads up, we clawed back 3 billion tokens from one of our core contributors as an internal consensus that the contributor received a disproportionate amount of tokens for their current role. Due the crazy amount of growth we've received since payment back in May, we are to making sure were always holding our team to a standard and putting the growth of our network first.
On that note we also are looking to bring on 2 more members to the team. One of which will help reduce Robits workload so he can focus on keeping his completive edge on prototyping/designing his open-source 3D printed robots. They will make a great addition, as this individual specializes in network administration, hardware security and 3D printing. And the 2nd individual of whom has extensive experience with Ai/LLMs and is deeply connected to the art world.
Proposal to distribute tokens to these parties are soon to come.

Introduction
Allowing a few weeks to elapse for the $ROKO community to take time to study the proposed Tokenomics R&D grant outline, it has come time to vote.

Proposal
There are a few option to choose from which we will allow for "Rank Choice Voting" to decide on the final outcome of the outline for tokenomics R&D proposal set forth.
1) Fund an initial block grant of $10k to a multi-sig of the Roko devs. Earmark an additional $25k for the remaining work.
2) Do not fund the work.
3) Refine this proposal and resubmit to the DAO for another vote. (see vote comments).
The minimum budget for this work given the hours and agreed pay rate is $25k. However software is known to frequently go over time and over budget so this proposal is for the DAO to earmark an additional 50% from this estimate. This brings the total anticipated expenses to $25-35k.
However, the treasury doesn’t need to allocate the full amount up front. The DAO vote will authorize initial funding of $10k for the first month’s work to be sold to stablecoins and held by the Roko devs or oversight council respectively. As each grant is exhausted, new grants will be funded in $10k increments until the work is completed, the earmarked funds are exhausted, or a subsequent vote modifies this plan.

We're still hashing out the details, but we have an important meeting lined up in October. Its pertains to value backing the underlying treasury. Gotta lay the groundwork and all the logistics first.
