100% of Funds Needed Raised in Hours to Help Mother Locate Daughter

Yesterday, BTJ launched OPERATION RESCUE to raise funds for a mother in Afghanistan to locate and reconnect her with her three-year-old daughter who she was forced to sell. Miraculously, within hours, BTJ reached the financial goal for this effort.
NO MORE FUNDS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS EFFORT – PRAISE THE LORD!
We are so thankful for Christian brothers and sisters from around the world who responded to this call to action.
Zahra (not her real name) recently became a believer.  BTJ missionaries arrived at her home and heard her story. She was close to commiting suicide after being severely beaten by the Taliban and forced to sell her daughter in order to survive.  Now, BTJ missionaries are helping her to find her daughter.  Never would she have believed that God would send help from every corner of the world to assist her.
NO MORE FUNDS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS EFFORT, but now the real work begins.
Prayers are desperately needed for this effort.
Pray for the safety of the mother and her daughter during this time. BTJ is asking every partner to share this prayer request with their churches, fellowships, home groups, and prayer groups.
For security reasons, very few details can be released at this time, but updates will be posted in the coming weeks.

URGENT HELP NEEDED TO RESCUE 3 YEAR OLD GIRL

“Help me find my daughter!” This is the cry of a mother in Afghanistan who was forced to sell her three-year-old daughter last month after the Taliban severely beat her and she could no longer afford to feed herself or her children.

Last week, we received a devastating video of Zahra (not her real name) who recently became a believer. Zahra was about to commit suicide after being severely beaten by the Taliban and forced to sell her daughter in order to survive.

BTJ launched OPERATION RESCUE to find the three-year-old child bride and get the baby back to her mother, but help is needed.

After much prayer and searching, Zahra’s daughter has been found. BTJ is now raising funds to urgently rescue the child from the man who bought her and return her to her mother. You can donate to the effort here:

How Does the Underground Church of Iran Use Their Money?

We are used to hearing more general reports from ministries, but receipts tell a story of their own. Would you like to know what has been done with donations you have sent for the work of underground churches in Iran? It provides a lot of insight into how these networks operate and what they prioritise!

Travel
The underground church is served by people who are often on the move. Many receipts we get are for evangelists who travel the country, visiting small house churches both in cities and in remote areas to teach, disciple and encourage believers.....

Bibles
Of course, there are receipts for the delivering of Bibles and other Christian books. This too is dangerous work but in order to grow healthy and strong, these young believers need the Word of God. So, when one contact reports 210 Bibles and 60 Christian books have been delivered in the past quarter in about 8 different cities, we see how the spiritual growth of the young churches is prioritized.....

Humanitarian
Many people in Iran live in dire poverty. Sanctions have destroyed the economy, and many young people cannot find enough work where they can earn enough to support their family.....

Our list of receipts is more than a bookkeeping formality. It gives us precious insight in how the churches in Iran operate and grow. And it gives much to pray for. Please join us!

How Jesus Appeared to an Old Chinese Woman During the Cultural Revolution

Mrs. Wu was gravely ill. Born and bred in a comfortable home in the city, this mother of four children was not accustomed to the hard field labor she was forced to do when they were sent to this rural area. When illness struck, she had continued working to escape ridicule and the and ill will. When a local doctor misdiagnosed her illness, she had got worse and nearly died......

Mrs. Wu then decided to go visit the old friend’s home, Elder Daughter suddenly exclaimed, “Mother! I hear singing!” All three quickened their pace out of curiosity and soon found themselves greeted with surprise and joy by Mrs. Wu’s old friend.....

After the meeting, the Christians gathered about, and with the upmost faith and simplicity, they prayed in Jesus’s name for Mrs. Wu’s healing. The friend then taught Mrs. Wu, a short prayer including the words, “Lord, save me.” All the way back to her relative’s home and even after she went to bed that night, Mrs. Wu kept repeating, “Lord, save me…Lord save me…Lord, save me…”

The next morning, Mrs. Wu woke up feeling hungry and asking for food. This was such a remarkable change that she and her daughter returned to the Christian friend’s home full of questions: How had this happened? How can we know Jesus?...

Did a Miraculous Earthquake This Month Save Israel from an Attack?
