سەربازانی شاخ لە زۆربەی بەرەکانی جەنگی جیهانی دووەمدا بەشدارییان کردووە و هەندێک لە گرنگترین شەڕەکانیان بریتی بوون لە:
* نەرویج (نارڤیک): ڕۆڵێکی چارەنووسسازیان بینی لە گرتنی بەندەری نارڤیک لە ساڵی ١٩٤٠ لە ژێر بارودۆخی سەختی جەمسەری باکووردا.
* قەفقاز (ئۆپەراسیۆنی ئیدێلڤایس) : ئەم سەربازانە له بەرزترین لوتکەی ئەوروپا ئاڵای ئەڵمانیایان هەڵکرد و سەركەوتن کە چیای ئێلبروس بوو و لە ساڵی ١٩٤٢ .
* یۆنان و کریت: بەشدارییان لە داگیرکردنی یۆنان و شکاندنی هێڵی بەرگری میتاکساس و دواتریش لە شەڕە ئاسمانییەکانی دورگەی کریتدا.

* Italy and the Eastern Front: They fought fierce defensive battles in the Apennine Mountains of Italy (the Gothic Line) and in the Arctic against Soviet forces.
