Even though Furvester has been postponed by a year, we would still like to introduce our next charity partner: the Reutlingen animal shelter, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. In addition to their traditional animal shelter work, they regularly offer various courses on how to interact with animals correctly. Feel free to check out their website or Instagram page!

The year is slowly coming to an end, and normally this would be the time when we all look forward to a wonderful New Year’s celebration.
But while many of us are winding down, the volunteers at our charity partner, the Reutlingen animal shelter, are still giving everything they have. Caring for the animals, comforting them, and handling emergencies around the clock. Even on the holidays.
I’ve heard that many of you unexpectedly managed to save a bit of money this year😉
So how about we turn that into something beautiful?
Let’s send some warm and heartfelt greetings and give them a little moment of happiness and maybe even a big one.

Dear attendees,

Furvester is growing fast, and that's thanks to all of you! After five excellent years at Hotel Fortuna, Furvester 6 has shown us that the space just can't keep up with the energy and amount of our attendees. The hotel has welcomed us back, however they could only offer us space for about half the attendees we had at Furvester 6. While we very much appreciate the hotel, its staff, and directors for hosting us these last years and giving us the option this year, this would mean massively limiting the available tickets to the convention.

We explored every option to make something work for 2025, including a new venue, but the timeline was simply too tight and none of the available options would have given us a Furvester that we could be proud of and enjoy as in the past years. Rather than deliver a scaled-down event this year, we've chosen to focus all our efforts on Furvester-007 in a new venue next year.

Furvester will return, bigger and better for 2026/2027. We’re excited for what’s coming next, and we’ll keep you updated along the way. We look forward to welcoming you at our new secret location!
