The death of democracy in Eastern Europe
In October, Bulgaria will hold its 8th election in less than 6 years. The political crisis in Bulgaria will be covered in detail in another post series similar to however for now we can summarise it as such: There is a Zigger-"nationalist" faction lead by Възраждане, a Non-Zigger conservative faction lead by ГЕРБ (the government before the crisis, responsible for the destruction of Bulgaria) and a liberal pro-EU faction lead by ППДБ. There's also 2 growing minority parties which Bulgarian voters all demand a cordon sanitaire around.
Since these 3 Bulgarian factions are irreconcilable, it has been impossible to form a stable majority in the Bulgarian National assembly, and it will be for the foreseeable future without election fraud.
When we look at the rest of Eastern Europe and especially at young voters, we can see a similar ideological patern emerging. In Slovenia, if the elections had not been rigged, in this election or at the latest at the next election, no political majority would've existed either, as Resnica representing the Zigger-"nationalists" would've prevented the pro-European right of SDS & NSi from forming a government. It's also important to note the presence of a smaller Zigger left both in Slovenia (Levica) and in Bulgaria (BSP/Radev), though this is generally prepared to work with other factions such as the Levica coalition with pro-EU Svoboda & SD.
But this general division into 3 main electoral factions is also present in other countries. Poland has this with the current leftist government, PiS, and Konfederacja/KKP, none of whom will be able to realistically work together in the future. In Hungary this will also become relevant in elections in the 2030's as the left won't need to rally behind right wing Tisza just to dislodge Orban.
As this patern gains prominence across Eastern Europe (other than Ukraine which wont have Ziggers in its political life), there are a few ways this can turn out: There is the Czech example, where the "right wing" ODS of Petr Fiala simply decided to work with the far left Pirati and created a coalitoon government with a policy of mass immigration, hate speech laws etc. But when the left and the fake right merged into the same thing, the majority of people simply voted for the cryptozigger right and Zigger-right, and that is how oligarch Babiš returned to power with his current Asiatic Zigger coalition partner.
In Romania, exactly the same thing happened. The controlled opposition right coalitioned with the left and cucked to them on all importsnt issues, a little Kathmandu was created in Bucharest, and the majority of Romanians voted for the Zigger right. Of course in this case the elections were simply cancelled and ignored, and a rigged second vote was held.
In Slovenia, Golob's Svoboda has now rigged the elections even when there was no threat of a Zigger government. Because unlike in Czechia and Romania, there is a real difference between the left and right in Slovenia, and Janša despite his unfortunate love for Albanian immigration, does not want to let hordes of Asian settlers into Slovenia.
In Macedonia and for a few more days also Hungary, we see the alternative to this: an American backed/MAGA alligned party is able to consolidate power, and they are dependant on America to resist EU pressure for leftist regime change. Such a scenario is not a victory either, in fact Macedonia under the DPMNE "hybrid regime" is going to be due to mass immigration.
Then there is the Vučić dictatorship in Serbia which somehow combines the worst of both.
What we are seeing here is essentially the total collapse of the farce of modern democracy. Peaceful transfers of power were apparently only viable when there was no real difference between the 2 parties on the ballot.
