We are pleased to inform you that our nomination period for the Fall Semester 2026 will open on March 16 and remain available until April 17, 2026.
We are currently accepting nominations for both undergraduate and graduate students across all programs offered at ITU. Please note that all instruction is delivered in English.

Nomination Process
To nominate your students successfully, please use our online portal. Please note: we do not accept nominations via email.

Please note that each partner university may nominate a maximum of 5 students. If you wish to nominate more than 5 students, we kindly ask that you contact us at
[email protected] for prior confirmation. Additionally, the nomination process must be completed by exchange coordinators only; please do not share the nomination link or password with your students.
Due to the intense interest and applications to some faculties and departments, especially the Faculty of Architecture, we may have to make limitations on the number of nominations in order to ensure diversity and capacity. If the number of students you will nominate is 3 or more, we kindly ask you to send an e-mail to

Steps for Nomination:
Access the link above and log in with the provided password.
Enter the student's personal information. It is critical to provide an alternative email address (e.g., .com or .net) for each student.
Select your country first; this will allow you to find and select your specific university.
Fill out the partner contact person information and submit.
To nominate more than one student, please repeat these steps for each individual.
Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. After our team reviews and approves the nominations, students will be directly forwarded to the application portal with guidance on the next steps.
Important Notes
Selection Policy: A nomination does not guarantee acceptance. Applications are subject to final approval by the relevant faculty or department.
Tuition & Expenses: Exchange students receive a tuition waiver under our Student Exchange Agreement. However, personal expenses (meals, accommodation, travel, etc.) are the responsibility of the student.
Dormitories: Although exchange students are given priority for room allocations in the university residential facilities, there is no guarantee. Please be advised that on-campus housing is available only in shared triple rooms, and no changes can be made to the assigned dormitory. Accommodations will be provided automatically; therefore, no separate application is required. Monthly dormitory fees are approximately 4,000-5,000 TL. Students are required to pay this amount or any adjusted (increased) fees as applicable.

*Transcript*: Minimum GPA of 2.5/4.00 (Undergraduate) or 3.00/4.00 (Graduate). Must have completed at least one year of full time study by the time of arrival at ITU.
*Language Certificate*: Official TOEFL, your institution’s English proficiency result, or a document stating the medium of study is English.
*Photo*: Passport size, JPEG format (under 200 kb), labeled with the student's full name.
