π± Important Update for Infinix, Tecno & Xiaomi Users
I've received many reports about font installation issues after the recent update, especially from Infinix, Tecno, and Xiaomi users.
The problem? File Handler settings.
### β Solution: Switch to Shizuku
If you're facing issues on Infinix, Tecno, Xiaomi, Huawei, or Honor devices, switching to Shizuku as your file handler will fix 90% of problems.
New to Shizuku? I've published a complete setup guide:
π https://zfont.app/filehandler/shizuku.html
### β Why Keep zFile and SAF?
These methods work on some devices and don't require setup like Shizuku. You can try different methods to see what works best for your device.
However, Shizuku is highly recommended for the most reliable experience.
### π Still Having Issues?
If you're already using Shizuku and still facing problems on these devices, please share details in https://t.me/zFontUserGroup with:
- Screen recording of the issue
- Your device information
Or send them to [email protected]
π Please read the guide carefully: https://zfont.app/filehandler/

π zFont 3.9.2 now supports Samsung One UI 8 (Android 16) for changing custom fonts and emojis!
The best part? This method is one-click and much easier than before! No more complicated steps.
How to get started:
- Set up Shizuku first (requires wireless debugging or computer connection initially)
- Root is optional! This method works with or without root
- Root users can use it without Shizuku

Happy customization! π¨

zFont v3.9.0 is here! π
What's new in this version?
π¨ Complete App Redesign I've rebuilt the entire app with Material 3 Expressive for a much better UI/UX experience.
π Major Bug Fixes Fixed critical bugs for Tecno, Infinix, Huawei, Honor, and LG devices.
π Xiaomi Users β Special News! You can now change fonts & emojis without them reverting to default after a few hours! π₯³
β οΈ Important Note for Samsung One UI 8 Users I need to apologize β Samsung has fixed the Cloud Backup/Restore bug that previously allowed custom font sideloading. I haven't found a new workaround for One UI 8 devices yet.
However, I've added exclusive fonts for Samsung users that No Ads subscribers can access! Or just pause ads :D π€«
π§ ROOT Users β Enhanced Module Support Improved module scripts for better compatibility! Font & emoji modules created by zFont now work seamlessly with Magisk, KernelSU, and APatch.
Since many Android manufacturers are restricting custom fonts, rooting is becoming the most reliable method for full customization.
π File Handling Improvements (Android 11+) Added 4 different file handling methods for Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, Tecno, and Infinix devices. zFont will auto-detect the best method for your device, but you can manually adjust it in Settings if needed.
π‘ Pro tip: Shizuku currently works best for most devices.
A Quick Reminder: I'm doing everything I can to help you customize your Android fonts and emojis. However, phone manufacturers actively restrict these features and patch any workarounds they find.
If something doesn't work on your device, it's because your phone company has implemented restrictions β not because zFont isn't trying hard enough.

# We've Released zFont 3.8.5!
The biggest change in this version is that we no longer use SAF (System File Picker) for Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, Vivo, Tecno, and Infinix devices. Instead, we've replaced it with zFile.
I understand this requires more steps, but Google does not grant All File Access permission to zFont 3, so this is the only way we can handle font files properly.
If you're using one of these phones, please provide feedback on whether the new zFile method is working well for you.
I want to emphasize again: There is no workaround for Vivo devices due to their restrictions. Please don't spam or leave negative reviews in the Play Store as this limitation is not our fault - it's due to Vivo's restrictions.
Thank you for your understanding!
