🤪 Tentacled cultist kittens attack: co-op horror Paws Coven launches
This is an asymmetric multiplayer game where three players control possessed kittens, perform rituals and summon monsters. They go up against a solo player who has to spot the occult kittens among a bunch of regular cats.
If the kittens manage to complete five rituals the human loses their sanity and the game. So you'll have to use cat carriers, valerian and even whiskey to stop them.

🔝 Pirate survival game Windrose is blowing up on Steam, hitting 170,000 peak players and winning over fans
Right now, Windrose is sitting at number six for concurrent players on Steam and is getting mostly rave reviews. People are calling it the best survival game since Valheim, which it closely resembles. Many say this is what Ubisoft's AAAA Skull & Bones should have been.
All this despite launching in early access with a fair share of issues.

Skillsearch surveyed 1,000 developers from around the world and the results are grim. 44% are considering quitting the profession. The main reason is widespread layoffs. So far, 65% have already been affected.
Finding a new job after layoffs isn't easy. Even experienced devs can spend a year searching. And even if they land something, they're still at risk of being let go.
Experts warn that at this rate we could see an exodus of seasoned professionals, which could lead to a slow decline of the industry

In theory, we're about to see tons of fan-made story campaigns and custom maps with wild mechanics:
- The game runs on the updated CS:GO engine with new tools and absolutely NO LIMITS. You can create full campaigns with scenarios that were impossible before and tweak the logic of any object
- It's all super convenient too. The UI has been updated, performance improved, and there are loads of QoL features and new tools
- The devs have already improved the graphics a bit but modders can take it even further. Everything from lighting to anti-aliasing and particles has been upgraded
- The mod has its own Workshop where all the community's creations will be stored
- It's all free and fully approved by VALVE

🔥 Far Cry in hell, Splinter Cell delayed again: what's going on at Ubisoft
Tom Henderson also gave a quick update on other Ubisoft titles after the Assassin's Creed: Black Flag remake news:
- Far Cry 7 is still in trouble. According to the insider, the game is going through absolute hell. It seems production is still a mess
- The Splinter Cell remake has been delayed again. The game was announced back in 2021
- There's some good news: the Rayman remake is progressing well
- The next big game after Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced will be a new Ghost Recon
- There's no info on the status of The Division 3, Beyond Good & Evil 2 or other projects
Right now Ubisoft is going through a major shake-up. The company has canceled , , restructured and expects to rise from the ashes.

😮 Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced reportedly isn't an RPG and it "looks awesome"
Key points:
- Despite early rumors, this is NOT an RPG like the recent entries but a classic open-world action game. Reports from a closed presentation say "it looks amazing"
- Tons of new content has been added and a lot of cut material from the original is back: new officers, crew members, quests, improved underwater exploration and expanded story content
- You can now have a pet on your ship. At least a cat and a monkey are confirmed
- There will be more about Edward's past in Britain
- The game feels like a full remake rather than just a remaster with extra content. That's why it'll be sold at full price — $70
The announcement is likely coming April 23. Release is set for July 9.
