Hi everyone,

As many of you speculated, I’ve decided to step back from developing Vulcan ROM for the foreseeable future. With critical exams approaching (wish me luck!), I need to pour all my energy into revising.

Key Details

- The Vulcan ROM groups will remain open, and will (hopefully) continue to assist with any issues you encounter.

- The Updates app will stay operational, and existing mods will continue to be updated.

- Will I return? probably not, but you can never know what the future holds.

I understand announcements like this can feel artificial or over the top, but the skills this project demanded—technical problem-solving, managing feedback, and effective communication—have been invaluable for my growth. For that, I extend sincere thanks to everyone who contributed: testers, donors, flashers, and even those who offered encouragement.

Don't worry though, A new ROM for the 990 series is already in progress and will launch soon. I’ll share the official announcement here once it’s released.

1️⃣ Unlock your boot loader​


➖ Go to 'Settings' -> 'About phone' and find your build number.
➖ Tap build number 6 times until you see “You’re now a developer”.
➖ Go in Developer options > enable OEM unlocking.
➖ Shut Down your Phone
➖ Hold Vol + & Vol - and Connect the USB-C Cable
➖ Device will boot in DOWNLOAD MODE.
➖ Long press volume UP to unlock the bootloader
(this will wipe your data and automatically reboot your device!).
➖ After Reboot the Bootloader is unlocked.

2️⃣ Install VulcanROM V3


➖ Boot Into Download mode.
➖ Power off your device.
➖ Simultaneously hold both volume keys, then plug it into a pc.
➖ Press volume key up.

➖ Place VulcanV3.tar in AP, and the ODIN pack for your device in BL https://xdaforums.com/attachments/odin3-v3-13-3_3b_patched-zip.5158503/ ➖ Wait for the phone to reboot to recovery.
➖ Make sure you select the format option in TWRP (VOL UP).
➖ Thats it! Welcome to VulcanROM V3!
