You claim Jesus is just a prophet, a servant, a messenger โ but your own argument collapses under the weight of the very Scriptures you pretend to honor.
Letโs examine them, without bias, without distortion, and see who Jesus really is.
1. Jesus Is the Word Who Was Already God
John 1:1 does not whisper โ it shouts:
> โIn the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.โ
The Greek is clear: ฤn ho Logos theos โ the Word was God. Not a god. Not โgodlike.โ Not โappointed by God.โ
Before creation began, Jesus existed eternally as God Himself.
2. Jesus Is Yahweh in the Flesh
Isaiah 44:6 says:
> โThus says the LORD (Yahweh), the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.โ
Yet in Revelation 1:17โ18, Jesus says:
> โI am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forevermore.โ
So ask yourself: when did Yahweh die and rise again?
The answer: When Jesus โ Yahweh incarnate โ was crucified and resurrected.
3. Jesus Receives Worship Only God Deserves
Matthew 14:33:
> โThen those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, โTruly you are the Son of God.โโ
If Jesus were a mere prophet, accepting worship would be blasphemy.
Yet He not only accepts it โ He affirms it.
Compare that to Revelation 22:8โ9, where an angel refuses worship, telling John, โWorship God!โ
Why does Jesus accept worship when angels refuse it? Because He is God.
4. Your Own Standards Condemn Your Denial
You argue Jesus never claimed to be God. Really?
John 8:58:
> โBefore Abraham was, I AM.โ
That โI AMโ (แผฮณฯ ฮตแผฐฮผฮน) is the very name God gave Moses in Exodus 3:14 โ and the Jews understood this perfectly. Thatโs why they picked up stones to kill Him for blasphemy.
Final Challenge
You can reject me. You can reject Church tradition. But you cannot reject the plain, unavoidable testimony of Scripture โ unless you choose willful blindness.
If you say you believe in the Bible, you must deal honestly with what it says: Jesus Christ is eternal, uncreated, worshiped, and called by the very name of Yahweh.
Deny Him, and you are not rejecting a doctrine โ you are rejecting the Lord of glory Himself.
