This is not the trite nonsense IFAs spew out. This is the stuff hedge fund managers know. This is a what a wealth creation playbook actually looks like. As the years go by, I remain angry fund managers, commentators, get away with ripping of private investors. I don't blame the private investor for not taking charge sooner.

Give it to your kids. Break the cycle of your savings not cloning your salary and not generating wealth.

Today's top gainers are headlined by MaxLinear

The semiconductor company reported adjusted EPS of $0.22 (vs. $0.18 est.) on revenue of $137.2M (+43% YoY), with its infrastructure segment — powered by optical data-center platforms — exploding +136% YoY. Q2 guidance of $160M–$170M crushed the $137.1M consensus, and management raised its full-year optical data-center revenue outlook by $40M, triggering multiple analyst upgrades from Needham, Roth Capital, and Stifel.

The AI optical interconnect theme continued to fuel POET Technologies
as well, which surged another +29% today on massive volume of over 77 million shares — extending a stunning multi-week rally to 11-year highs — as retail and momentum traders piled into the company's story around 800G optical engine orders tied to a confirmed relationship with Marvell Technology. Davidson issued a high-conviction upgrade on AMD to Buy with a price target raised from $220 to $375, citing a structural surge in AI-driven CPU demand — with AMD's Q1 earnings on May 5 expected to show ~38% revenue growth. Finally, iHeartMedia
stood out as the lone non-semiconductor mover, jumping +35% to a 52-week high of $5.42, though the catalyst remains unclear ahead of its May 11 earnings report, with the stock nearly 5x off its 52-week low of $0.99.
