🚀 Service Update

Over the past 24–48 hours, we experienced a server outage that affected all IP Tunnel VPN servers and protocols. We are pleased to announce that the issue has now been fully resolved, and all servers are back online and running normally.

To improve stability and provide more options for users, we have also added V2RAY as an alternative protocol for WebSocket connections, which can be used in case of any future WebSocket issues.

In addition, we have launched a new SlowDNS server as Server 5, with improved performance compared to the previous setup.

A new app update is also on the way and is expected within the next few weeks, either later this month or early next month.

We have identified an issue affecting the WebSocket protocol on IPTunnel. To enhance reliability and ensure uninterrupted service, our engineering team is actively developing an alternative V2Ray-based configuration for each WebSocket protocol. This will provide a seamless fallback option, allowing users to switch to V2Ray in the event of any future disruptions.

We also acknowledge the recent service interruption experienced by users utilizing SlowDNS. The issue has now been fully resolved, and services have been restored to normal operation.

Regarding the MTN 100MB tweak, our team is currently working on server-side optimizations. We expect full restoration and improved performance within the next few hours.

We identified an issue affecting OTA (over-the-air) updates for a subset of users, which prevented new updates from being delivered as expected.

A temporary fix has now been deployed to restore update delivery. Users can access the latest version by simply opening the app and performing a refresh.

We will be rolling out a new application update this weekend, alongside an over-the-air (OTA) system update.

This release primarily targets users on Android versions below 14, as well as users who are currently not receiving updates. It includes improvements to diagnostic logging to better identify and resolve underlying issues, along with fixes addressing ad-related performance.

The accompanying OTA update focuses on backend infrastructure enhancements as part of our migration to proprietary server architecture. As a result of this transition, server details extracted for use on third-party VPN applications outside of IPTunnel will no longer function, as our services will be restricted to supported environment

For those who may have missed it, we’ve rolled out a new OTA update with several infrastructure and performance improvements.

What’s new:
• New Server Deployment — South Africa to improve regional latency and connectivity
• FastDNS / UDP Improvements across all servers for faster resolution and better stability
• Hysteria Protocol Fix addressing connection reliability and performance

⚠️ Having trouble receiving the OTA update?
If you’re unable to fetch the update, try connecting through a VPN and attempt the update again. In some cases, Cloudflare may be rate-limiting or restricting certain IP addresses, which can prevent the update from downloading properly.

We’re continuously working to improve speed, reliability, and overall network performance. More updates coming soon.
