The CEO of CryptoQuant https://x.com/ki_young_ju/status/1863799907649507357 that this altcoin season will not be what everyone expected.

It promises to be strange and challenging. Only a select few will come out on top. Despite positive market sentiment, there is virtually no fresh liquidity.

Bitcoin is gradually distancing itself from the rest of the crypto ecosystem—it has created its own second-layer paper ecosystem through ETFs, MicroStrategy, funds, and other instruments. In this system, building bridges to other altcoins is impossible.

Previously, altcoins moved in sync with BTC due to their correlation, but now this pattern has been broken. Only a few altcoins are starting to show independent trends, attracting new liquidity.
