— The XAUUSD M15 timeframe continues to maintain a bearish intraday structure, with the price consistently creating lower highs within the descending channel. After a strong impulsive upward move to sweep liquidity above, the market quickly lost momentum and returned to trading below the short-term supply zone, indicating that buying pressure is not strong enough to reverse the structure.

— Currently, the price is reacting below the 4558–4564 resistance zone, while being compressed below the upper edge of the descending channel. This suggests that sellers are still controlling short-term order flow, and current rallies are primarily corrective retracements.

2. Key Areas to Watch

🔹 Supply/Resistance Zone: 4558 – 4564
➡️ A confluence of the supply zone, channel resistance, and an imbalance zone that has not yet been fully filled.
➡️ This is a crucial area to observe for bearish rejection or liquidity sweeps before the market continues to decline.

🔹 Key Structural Level: 4580
➡️ If the price breaks out strongly and holds above this area, the short-term bearish structure may be invalidated.
➡️ In that case, the market is likely to enter a short-term upward expansion phase.

🔺 Gap & Liquidity Zone: 4532 – 4520
➡️ The gap below is currently acting as a “liquidity magnet,” attracting the price back to fill the imbalance.
➡️ This is the near target for intraday sell positions.

🔺 Strong Demand Zone: 4504 – 4508
➡️ This is the last discount area and a high-liquidity zone below.
➡️ If the market breaks down from the current zone, this will be the next expansion target for the sellers.

3. Potential Future Trends
🔸 The current high-probability scenario is that the price will continue with a technical retracement to the supply/channel resistance zone before being rejected and continuing the downtrend to fill the imbalance below.

🔸 The current structure shows:
✔️The descending channel is still controlling price behavior.
✔️Lower highs continue to form.
✔️The market has not yet confirmed a bullish BOS reversal.

🔸 As long as the price hasn't broken out and closed firmly above 4580, the main bias remains toward a bearish continuation, targeting lower liquidity zones.
🔸 In the short term, the market is likely to prioritize sweeping liquidity above before pushing down to optimize cash flow for the sellers.

4. Conclusion on today's gold trading strategy

🔹 Today's preferred strategy remains selling the rally rather than chasing the breakout. Traders should patiently wait for the price to retrace to the premium zone around 4558–4564 to find confirmation to sell according to the structure.

🔹 Given the high volatility of gold, trading according to the market structure, waiting for liquidity reaction, and tight risk management are more important than entering trades early.

🔹 The sellers currently hold the advantage until the market successfully reclaims the 4580 zone.
