Most investors can’t do this, because you are always afraid. You are afraid because you were exposed to this environment through groups and forums, places filled with endless opinions and advice that gradually make you forget that you are fully capable of making your own decisions for every action you take. You become a slave to information for so long that you completely forget you can create your own plan.

Try withdrawing into yourself for a period of time. Reevaluate your own strategies, and stop seeking validation from other people’s strategies. When outside opinions no longer influence your personal plan, that is when you will truly experience “freedom” in trading.

Never let society tell you what you should do. Stay committed to your goals. Walk among the crowd, but do not let the crowd direct you. One day, you will no longer fear solitude, instead, you will begin to enjoy it.

Solitude brings freedom, and consistency brings growth. At that point, you will discover your own path in the journey of investing.
