Macro

Inflation is at 3.0% with interest rates ranging between 4.25-4.5%. Meanwhile, QT is pulling $40 billion per month, squeezing liquidity and driving a risk-off sentiment in the markets—especially since BTC’s correlation with the Nasdaq is a strong 0.90. Trump's tariffs are adding extra pressure on the economy, and global liquidity isn’t flowing as hoped due to a robust dollar (DXY at 105) and a steady TGA balance of $790 billion. Unemployment remains at a stable 4.0%, though any uptick might push the Fed toward easing policy sooner. There’s a glimmer of hope, however, for the second half of 2025: around April to June, we might see rates start to drop and the TGA balance decline, giving the market some relief.

Front-Running

Don’t forget: Crypto always frontruns. This year’s monthly cycles aren’t aligning with macro realities, so the classic “sell in May and go away” probably won’t play out.

What to Do?

For now, it’s best to avoid overactive trading or excessive speculation. Instead, reduce your risk exposure or even take a break from trading.

What you should do is start accumulating BTC, ETH, and SOL on every dip using DCA. In my worst-case scenario, the bottom could be around 70K zone (BTC)—a real gift if it happens. If you don’t start accumulating now, later you might end up either buying at the peak under high risk or sitting on the sidelines.

Conclusions

• In my view, the lowest prices might be around 70K zone (BTC).

• Use DCA to buy on dips in the majors—BTC, ETH, and SOL.

• Avoid taking high risks while the market is in risk-off mode.

I'm choosing not to rush things. Bitcoin is back around 100k, comfortably within its range—nothing compelling to buy or sell just yet. However, if it drops to around 90k or lower, that would be a solid entry point, so I’m keeping that scenario in mind.

Ethereum is retracing about 25%, and the setup is similar here. There's a good chance it could drop another 20% down to the 2,200–2,300 range—pretty much a clear opportunity. And if the lows get updated, the same logic applies to Solana.

If Bitcoin does dip to 90k or breaks below that level, I plan to use the rest of my stablecoins to scoop up BTC, ETH, and SOL, depending on the price action and market conditions at that moment.

On the other hand, if the dip doesn’t happen, I’ll shift into the current hot narratives while the market is still shaking off its recovery. So, it’s best not to front-run.

Fear in the air? What’s up with the market?

Putting together some thoughts and expectations for you. Let me start by saying I’m still bullish on the mid-to-long term.

I know positivity has been scarce lately—fear is literally dominating the market—but there are plenty of bullish catalysts brewing. The big question is WHEN.

We’re waiting for potential rate cuts, a weaker dollar, possible QE relaunch, an ETH staking ETF, more crypto ETFs (SOL is likely next), and a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve or similar policy. Sooner or later, these will happen.

The key now is not to lose everything while we’re stuck in this range. Personally, I’m planning to minimize unnecessary moves but act decisively when needed +
scale in strategically.

BTC & ETH
For Bitcoin, prices below the red zone look interesting. ETH, on the other hand, seems unlikely to reclaim 2,100 now that critical support levels have been wiped.
