Child brought up in a nursery is not the same as one raised in his mother’s lap. When a child is brought up in a nursery by strangers without his mother’s care and affection, he will develop a complex. Much of the corruption from which society suffers, stems from these children who have grown up with a complex. Major complexes are created when a child is separated from his mother. A child needs his mother’s affection, therefore this profession,which was also the profession of the prophets, for they too came to make true human beings,is your primary one: to give your child his primary training.

Imam Reza (as) said: Allah the Almighty said: O son of Adam, by My will, you are able to desire for yourself whatever you wish, and by My power, you have been able to perform My obligatory acts. By My blessings, you have the strength to disobey Me. I have made you hearing, seeing, and capable. Whatever goodness comes to you is from Allah, and whatever harm reaches you is from yourself, because I am more entitled to your goodness than you, and you are more entitled to your badness than I am. The Goal of Wilayat al-Faqih...

The most important duty of the prophets (peace be upon them) is to establish a just social system through the implementation of laws and rulings, which naturally goes hand in hand with explaining divine laws and spreading divine teachings and beliefs. This meaning is clearly evident from the noble verse:

“We certainly sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and We sent down with them the Book and the Balance so that people may uphold justice.”

The overall aim of the prophetic missions is that people, based on just social relations, gain order and organization and stand upright in their humanity. This is only possible through the formation of a government and the implementation of laws.

When the Most Noble Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was given his mission, he was commanded to carry it out alone: “Arise and deliver your call” (Qur’an 73:2). The call began with the Prophet. On the day he announced his prophethood, only a woman and a child believed in him, yet the perseverance required of all the noble prophets for leadership was present in him in perfect form. “Stand firm (on the straight path) as you are commanded” (Qur’an 11:112).

Guardianship of the Jurist (4️⃣2️⃣) | Fortress of Islam or Asleep?!

When he says: “The believing jurists are the fortresses of Islam,” in reality this makes the jurists responsible and obligated to be guardians—guardians of the beliefs, laws, and systems of Islam. Obviously, this statement of the Imam is in no way ceremonial.

If a jurist sits in the corner of his home and does not intervene in any affairs—does not preserve Islamic laws, does not spread Islamic rulings, does not take part in the social affairs of Muslims, and does not care about the matters of Muslims—can he be called a “fortress of Islam”? Is he the protector of Islam?
If a ruler tells an official or a commander: “Go protect that region and guard it,” does the duty of guarding allow him to go home and sleep until the enemy comes and destroys that region?

☘️ Guardianship of the Jurist 2️⃣ 2️⃣ | It is a duty, not a position

When we say that the guardianship held by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the Imams (AS) is, after the occultation, held by a just jurist, no one should get the illusion that the status of the jurists is the same as that of the Imams (AS) and the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Because here we are not talking about status; rather, we are talking about duty.

"Guardianship" means governance and managing the country and implementing the laws of the sacred Sharia, which is a heavy and important duty; it does not create an extraordinary rank for anyone or elevate them above an ordinary human being.
