‎Whoever consistently maintains the recitation of Sūrah al-Baqarah over long/unbroken periods will witness remarkable changes in their life; physical healing, increase in their provision, expansion in their chest and blessing in their time.

‎The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

‎اقرَؤوا سورةَ البَقرةِ؛ فإنَّ أخذَها بَركةٌ، وتَركَها حَسرةٌ، ولا تَستطيعُها البَطَلةُ

‎”... Recite Sūrah al-Baqarah, for taking hold of it is a blessing, neglecting it is a regret, and those engaged in sorcery [and deceptive practices] cannot withstand it.”

“I will not taste sleep until you are pleased.”

(Characteristics of a righteous wife)

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“Shall I not inform you about the best of your women from the people of Paradise (al-Jannah)?

They are loving, child-bearing, those who return to their husbands. The one who, if she causes harm to her husband or is harmed by him, and in another narration: if her husband becomes angry with her, she comes to him until she takes hold of his hand and says:

‘By Allāh, I will not taste sleep until you are pleased.’”

Shaykh Sulaymān ar-Ruḥaylī حفظه الله said in its explanation:

From the rights of the husband upon his wife is that she is diligent in not angering him and not becoming angry with him. And if she becomes angry with him or she makes him angry, she returns to him seeking to please him.

A righteous wife does not compete with her husband, she protects the peace of the home and seeks the pleasure of Allah through it.

Indeed Allaah سبحانه و تعالى‎ chose four statements

Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

‘Indeed Allāh chose four statements:

‘Far is Allaah from imperfection, and all praise be to Allaah, and there is none worthy of worship in truth except Allaah, and Allaah is the Greatest,’

Subhana Allaahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, wa la illaah ila Allaah, wa Allaahu Akbar

So whoever says ‘Subhana Allaah,’ twenty good deeds are written for him, and twenty bad deeds are taken away.

Whoever says ‘Allaahu akbar’ then he gets likewise.

Whoever says ‘La illaah ila Allaah,’ then he gets likewise.

Whoever says ‘Alhamdulillaahi Rabbil Al-Ameen’ from his own self then thirty good deeds are written for him and thirty sins are cancelled from him.’

This World Was Never Meant to Be Complete

Shaykh Muqbil رحمه الله تعالى said:

“Allāh ﷻ does not take something except that He compensates with something better, and the world is a place of trial; it has never been complete for anyone.”
Ghar al-Ashtāt (2/474)

Reflection:
This statement heals a restless heart. Many of our pains come from expecting completion in a place that was never designed to give it. Loss, delays, unanswered du'a, broken plans; none of these are signs of neglect from Allāh. Rather, they are reminders of the true nature of the dunyā.

Allāh may take something we love, but He never takes without wisdom. What He replaces it with may not look better to us immediately, sometimes it is patience, sometimes closeness to Him, sometimes protection from a greater harm, and sometimes a reward stored for the Ākhirah.

No Prophet lived without hardship. No righteous person had a flawless life. So if something feels missing, incomplete, or heavy know that this is not a failure. This is the design of the test.

Trust the One who takes, trust the One who gives, and trust that what is delayed or removed was never meant to break you, but to carry you closer to Him.
“And Allāh ﷻ is Gentle with His servants.”

Imam Abu Hazim Salamah bin Dinar رحمه الله was once asked:

“O Abu Hazim! Do you not see how much prices have increased (how expensive things have become)?”

He replied:

“Why are you worried about that? Indeed, the One (Allah) who provided for us during times of ease will also provide for us during times of hardship.”

Think about it: The provision (rizq) whose responsibility Allah Himself has taken, we are exhausting ourselves worrying about it.

Meanwhile, the matter of the Hereafter is extremely serious — it is where our eternal success or failure will be decided — yet we remain heedless of it.

Let us correct our priorities

Friday — A Great Day with Allah

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

Most of the immoral people respect Friday and it’s night (Thursday night). and they believe that whoever dares to commit sins in it, Allah hastens his punishment and does not delay it (does not give him respite).

This is something that they (the immoral, non-practicing people) have established and learned from experience.

This is due to the honor and great status of this day with Allah.

In times of grief, fear or deep distress, the Prophet ﷺ taught us a Du’a that calms the heart and strengthens the soul.

Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ) used to say at a time of distress

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ،
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ،
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ، وَرَبُّ الأَرْضِ، وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ

[There is no lord worthy of worship but Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing.
There is no Lord worthy of worship, but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne.
There is no Lord worthy of worship, but Allah, Lord of the Heavens,
Lord of the Earth, and Lord of the Noble Throne.]

Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Sālih al-’Uthaymīn رَحِمَهُ الله said:

“The matter of borrowing is something by which many people have been tested, yet they treat it lightly. You will often see a person, desiring some luxury or non-essential item, going out to borrow for it. There is no doubt that this reflects poor judgment and mismanagement.

A person should only borrow when there is a real and unavoidable need, when it is absolutely necessary. If one is capable of managing without it, then borrowing is neither required nor appropriate.”

قال عبدُ اللهِ بنُ مسعودٍ -رضي الله عنه-:

والذي لا إلهَ غيرُه، ما أُعطي عبدٌ مؤمنٌ شيئًا خيرًا من حُسنِ الظنِّ باللهِ عزَّ وجلَّ، والذي لا إلهَ غيرُه، لا يُحسِنُ عبدٌ باللهِ عزَّ وجلَّ الظنَّ إلا أعطاه اللهُ ظنَّه، ذلك بأنَّ الخيرَ في يده تعالى.

ʿAbdullāh ibn Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

“By the One besides whom there is no deity, a believing servant is not given anything better than having a good opinion of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. And by the One besides whom there is no deity, no servant thinks well of Allah except that Allah grants him according to his expectation. That is because all goodness is in His Hand, the Exalted.”

The Full Moon Nights (The White Days)

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Fasting three days of each month is fasting for a lifetime, and ayyam al-beed are the 13th, 14th and 15th (of the Hijri month).”

The three white days in India 🇮🇳

2nd April- Thursday
3rd April- Friday
4th April- Saturday

^ you can fast these 3 days with the intention of the missed fast of ramadan and in sha Allāh you will get the reward of obligatory fast as well as the reward of sunnah fast in sha Allah.

and if you haven’t missed any, then you can keep 3 shawwal fasts on these 3 days and then you will get the reward of 2 sunnah fasts (3 on thursday) in sha Allāh

3. Entertain more than educate you

4. Fill your mind with doubts

5. Create distrust about who you listen to

6. Make you pessimistic

7. Increase arrogance and decrease humbleness

8. Create the habit of backbiting and hating scholars.

9. You will start to think the other person answering you is a Scholar and knows everything.

In the end you will never have firmness in knowledge.

The former was the way of the best of our Ummah.

Protecting Your Spouse’s Honor

“They are clothing for you, and you are clothing for them.” (Qur’ān 2:187)

Marriage is a bond of love, trust, and protection. As a spouse, it is your duty to stand up for your partner and never allow anyone i.e. be it your family, friends, or society to mock, belittle, or put them down, whether in jokes or otherwise.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best of you are those who are best to their wives, and I am the best among you to my wives.” (Tirmidhi 3895, Sahih)

Defend your spouse’s dignity,
uplift them in public and private, and ensure they feel valued and respected.

A strong marriage flourishes when both partners protect each other’s honor.

May Allah ﷻ grant us wisdom, strengthen our marriages with love and mercy, and help us implement these teachings in our daily lives, Aameen.

Try to keep fast tomorrow with the intention of combining shawwal fasts + Monday fast for doubling the voluntary fasts reward إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ!

The Prophet ﷺ was keen to fast on Mondays and Thursdays.

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 745; al-Nasai, 2361; Ibn Majah, 1739; classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1044)

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Deeds are shown (to Allah) on Mondays and Thursdays, and I like my deeds to be shown when I am fasting.”

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 747; classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1041)
