VICTORY IN CHRIST

“But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37 (NKJV)

Without doubt, there are times when you pass through difficult seasons in life. In those moments, you often discover who truly loves and supports you. These are the times when enemies may rise openly against you, and some people may hope that their evil plans will destroy you completely.

When you face challenges, some people find the opportunity to say what was already in their hearts. Those who secretly wished to see you fall or lose everything may begin to speak against you.

David experienced this as well. In Psalms 41:5 (NKJV) he said:
“My enemies speak evil of me: ‘When will he die, and his name perish?’”

When you look back on your life, you may realize that it was only God who helped you. He carried you through because of His love for you. Sometimes His mercy was shown to you even when you were not perfect. Perhaps you did not even know God at the time, yet He still helped you.

Your victory in those situations was not because you prayed a lot or because you had strong faith. Maybe you had already lost hope completely. But it was the grace of God that carried you through.

That is why today we boldly declare:
“But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” It is because God loves you that He protected you. Your victory is not because of your own efforts, your righteousness, or your ability. It is because of the love of God.

As human beings, we have many weaknesses. Often when we go through challenges, we realize how limited our strength really is. Sometimes you may even recognize that you made mistakes and deserved the consequences. Yet even then, the love of God carried you through.

It is the love of God that saves us and helps us in our lives. No one is perfect. Even if someone thinks they are perfect, they are mistaken.

God is with you in every situation, and His love has no limits. Even if people hate you, God still loves you. And there is no problem or challenge greater than the love of God.

Romans 8:38–39 (NKJV) says:
“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Prayer: Lord, You are greater than the challenges I am facing. Your love is greater than the hatred of my enemies. In every situation I know that You are with me, and nothing can separate me from Your love. I commit my life into Your hands. Amen.

HE IS GOD IN EVERY SITUATION

But You, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head. Psalm 3:3

Our God is a God who is able to help us in every situation. He is a God who knows our matters very well. But also our God is mighty and a warrior who does not want to see the enemy oppress us in any way.

I am telling you these words because there are times you pass through challenges until you forget the power of God, because you see that God has not yet done anything for you.

In this Psalm, David begins by saying:
“Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me, ‘There is no help for him in God.’
Psalm 3:1–2

What helped David was that he never forgot his God. Even during this time of suffering and trouble, he knew his God. That is why he said: “But You, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head.”

The main work of your enemies is to break your heart and remove your courage. But God is the One who lifts your head. He will lift you up and you will not be ashamed again. He will make you succeed.

God will give you courage to move forward in your life without being stopped again by the words of your enemies.

Prayer Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your protection. I believe You will lift me up and make me succeed in my work. Amen.

“SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS”

Galatians 6:3 (NKJV) says, “For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.”

This verse speaks about the danger of self-righteousness. Paul warns that when a person thinks too highly of himself, he is living in deception. Notice that the verse does not say the devil deceives him. It does not say other people deceive him. It says he deceives himself. This means the problem begins in the mind.

Self-righteousness is a mental problem. It starts with the way a person thinks about himself. When someone begins to believe that he is greater, wiser, or more important than others, he creates a false image in his own mind. Over time, he begins to believe that image. In reality, he is living in self-deception.

There are some problems in life where others may influence you, but you are still responsible for your actions. Self-righteousness is one of them. How you program your thoughts shapes your character. If you constantly focus on your achievements and forget the grace of God, pride begins to grow in your heart.

Self-righteousness does not appear suddenly. Pride and arrogance develop over time. They grow slowly through repeated thoughts and attitudes. When a person refuses correction, ignores advice, and constantly praises himself, that attitude becomes part of his personality.

One of the biggest causes of self-righteousness is a lack of humility and gratitude. When you stop thanking God for what you have, you begin to believe that your success comes only from your own effort. You forget that God gave you life, strength, wisdom, and opportunities. Gratitude protects your heart from pride.

When you recognize that everything you have comes from God, your perspective changes. Your achievements no longer become a reason to boast about yourself. Instead, they become a reason to glorify God. Gratitude shifts the focus from yourself to the One who blessed you.

As believers, we must remember that our lives are not truly our own. Our lives belong to Christ. Without Him we are nothing. Every good thing in us comes from His grace. When Jesus becomes the center of your life, pride loses its power. You no longer try to prove that you are important. You simply live to honor Him.

Today is a good day to humble yourself before God. Recognize His grace in your life. Everything you are today is because of Him. When humility fills your heart, self-righteousness disappears.

Prayer: Lord, remove pride from my heart and help me live in humility and gratitude.

Daniel 9:20–27 — The Cry That Opens Heaven and the Prophecy of the Seventy Weeks
“Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel… the man Gabriel… reached me about the time of the evening offering.” (Daniel 9:20–21, NKJV)
1. A Prayer That Moves the Spiritual Realm (vv. 20–23)
Book of Daniel chapter 9 reveals a man who does not only read prophecy—he humbles himself.
Daniel confesses his sin and the sin of the people. He does not accuse or justify; he identifies.
Here we see the heart of Pentecostal intercession:
repentance
identification
supplication based on God’s mercy
While he is still speaking, heaven answers. The angel Gabriel comes in “swift flight.” This language suggests spiritual urgency: when a man aligns himself with God’s will, the invisible realm responds.
Spiritual revelation:
Prayer is not ritual—it is a spiritual transaction. There is a dimension where sincere confession accelerates divine response.
“For you are greatly beloved” (v. 23)
Before the prophetic explanation comes a declaration of identity: you are loved.
Revelation flows from intimacy.
2. The Seventy Weeks: God’s Prophetic Calendar (vv. 24–27)
This is one of the deepest Messianic prophecies in Scripture.
a) The Purpose of the Seventy Weeks (v. 24)
Seventy “weeks” (literally seventy sevens) are determined to:
finish transgression
make an end of sins
make reconciliation for iniquity
bring in everlasting righteousness
seal up vision and prophecy
anoint the Most Holy
All of this converges in the work of the Messiah.
The word “reconciliation” points to the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
The cross was not an accident—it was the fulfillment of a divine timetable established before the foundation of the world.
b) The Anointed One Shall Be Cut Off (v. 26)
“After the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself…”
Here we see a clear prophetic picture of the Messiah’s death.
The “Anointed One” (Hebrew Mashiach) is removed—but not for His own sake.
This is the cross.
Not defeat, but substitution.
From a Pentecostal perspective, this passage confirms:
the supernatural inspiration of Scripture
the centrality of the blood of the Lamb
the sovereignty of God over history
c) The Final Week and the End Times (v. 27)
The final “week” is often understood in evangelical-Pentecostal eschatology as a future seven-year period connected to the Great Tribulation.
It speaks of:
a covenant being confirmed
sacrifice being stopped
the abomination of desolation
This theme is later referenced by Jesus in Matthew 24 and finds parallels in Revelation.
From a charismatic perspective, this passage reminds us:
history is not random
evil has a limited time
God’s plan is already written
3. Spiritual Application for Today
🔥 1. Revelation Is Born in Prayer
Daniel received the greatest Messianic timeline while fasting and confessing.
If you want deeper understanding, seek God in the secret place.
🔥 2. God Has a Calendar
Even when everything seems chaotic, God counts the times.
The cross was not accidental.
Neither is your life.
🔥 3. The Center Is the Messiah
The seventy weeks are not mainly about the antichrist or tribulation—but about the Messiah who:
reconciles
justifies
inaugurates everlasting righteousness
The focus is not fear of the future, but certainty of redemption.
Conclusion
Daniel 9 is not merely a prophetic chart—it is the fruit of a broken and surrendered prayer life.
One man on his knees received revelation about God’s eternal plan.
There is a dimension where:
intercession opens heaven
humility precedes anointing
confession prepares revelation
And above all, one certainty remains:
The Messiah was cut off—but He introduced everlasting righteousness.
History is moving toward fulfillment.
But the throne is already occupied. 🔥

“WORSHIP AND BE GRATEFUL TO GOD ONLY”

Romans 1:21 (NKJV) says, “because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.”

These people knew God. They had seen His works. They had experienced His goodness. Yet they did not glorify Him or thank Him. Because of this, their thinking became empty and their hearts became dark. This shows us that knowing about God is not enough. Gratitude and true worship must follow.

Let me ask you: How many things has God done for you that you did not deserve? How many times has He shown you kindness, protection, and mercy? What have you done in return? How is your relationship with Him today?
In the Old Testament, God performed many miracles for Israel. He delivered them from slavery, fed them in the wilderness, protected them from enemies, and blessed them with a land of promise. Yet many of them became ungrateful. They stopped honoring Him. They turned to idols. They forgot the One who saved them.

Today, we must understand what worship really means. Many people think worship is only going to church on Sunday. Some think worship is singing slow songs during service. Those songs are called worship songs because their words honor God. But worship itself is more than music.

Worship means honoring, loving, and recognizing the supreme worthiness of God through a lifestyle of obedience, gratitude, and devotion. It is not just an act; it is a lifestyle. You can attend church every week and still not worship God if you live in disobedience and ingratitude.

The people Paul described in Romans knew God, but they did not glorify Him. They were not thankful. As a result, their hearts became dark. This is the danger of not worshipping God. When gratitude leaves your heart, darkness enters.

When you stop honoring God, your thoughts become confused. Soon, you begin to do evil things without shame or fear. And the end of that path is destruction.

Today, God is calling you to examine your relationship with Him. Do you truly worship Him? Does your life reflect obedience and thankfulness? Or is worship only something you do for a few hours on Sunday?

Give God space in your heart. Allow Him to transform your life. Going to church is good, but your daily actions must also honor Him. Let your life reflect Christ. Let your words, choices, and attitude show gratitude.

When you worship God with your life, He blesses you. Gratitude keeps your heart bright and your mind clear. Choose to worship and be thankful to God only.

Prayer: Lord, teach me to worship You with gratitude and obedience daily.

“JUDGMENTAL SPIRIT”

Acts 28:4 (NKJV) says, “So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, ‘No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live.’”

Let me begin with a question: What comes first into your mind when you see something bad happen to someone else? Whether it is a friend, a stranger, or even your enemy, what do you think?
Paul’s story teaches us something powerful. He was already suffering. He had been imprisoned. He had gone through a shipwreck.

Now, in a foreign land, he was helping the local people by gathering firewood for the fire. He was serving out of love. But when the snake attacked him, those same people quickly judged him and immediately concluded he must be a criminal.

In some translations, the snake is linked to an “avenging goddess” (AMP), meaning they believed divine justice was punishing him. Without knowing Paul’s story, they judged him. Instead of helping him, instead of giving him first aid, they stood back. Some even waited and other followed him, expecting him to fall and die of snake venom.

This is a reality in our lives. Sometimes the people we help are the first to judge us when something goes wrong. But we must also ask ourselves: Do we do the same to others?

A judgmental spirit is not something new. It has existed since ancient times. We are often quick to form opinions without understanding the full story. In The Message translation, they said about Paul, “the natives jumped to the conclusion that he was a murderer getting what he deserved.” Acts 28:4 (MSG)They believed he was getting what he deserved.

But what they did not understand was that Paul was in a spiritual battle. The attack was not God’s judgment. It was the enemy trying to stop God’s servant. Many times, people confuse the devil’s attack with God’s punishment. When someone falls, we quickly say, “God is punishing him,” or “They must have opened a door for devil's attacks.” We create reasons to justify our judgment.

Take time to examine your heart. Jesus said, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged” (Matthew 7:1). If you have a judgmental spirit, repent. Ask God to remove it. Ask Him to fill you with love and compassion.

Do not be quick to condemn. Be quick to pray. Be quick to help. Choose love over judgment.

Prayer: Lord, remove judgment from my heart and fill me with love.

“PRAY AGAIN, AND AGAIN AND AGAIN”

James 5:18 (NKJV) says, “And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.”

This verse speaks about the prophet Elijah. It reminds us that prayer has power. But it also shows us something deeper, Elijah prayed again and again and again. Rain did not come the first time he prayed. It did not come the second time. But he did not stop. He continued until the answer came. And when the rain finally fell, the earth produced fruit. Persistent prayer brought visible results.

The secret of answered prayer is persistence. Many people pray once and expect immediate results. When nothing happens, they feel discouraged. They think God has rejected them. But delay is not rejection. Sometimes God is building your faith, patience, and dependence on Him.

The Bible explains how Elijah prayed for rain after a long drought. In 1 Kings 18:42–44 (NKJV), Elijah went to the top of Mount Carmel and bowed down with his face between his knees. He told his servant to look toward the sea. The servant went and returned saying, “There is nothing.” Elijah did not give up. He told him to go back seven times. On the seventh time, a small cloud appeared. That small cloud became heavy rain.

Imagine if Elijah had stopped at the sixth time. The miracle was close, but not yet visible. Persistence made the difference.

Even in this season of your life, there may be something you have been praying for. Maybe it is healing, a job, restoration in your family, or spiritual growth. You may feel tired. You may feel like giving up. But don’t stop praying.

If the mighty prophet Elijah needed to pray again and again, how much more do we? His delay was not rejection. It was a process. In the same way, the delay you are facing does not mean God has said no. It may mean your answer is on the way.

Jesus also taught about persistence. He said in Luke 18:1 that people “ought always to pray and not lose heart.” And in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, we are told to “pray without ceasing.” If you will not cease, God will answer in His perfect time.

Pray about it again. And again. And again. The rain will come. The earth will produce fruit. Do not let silence discourage you. Let it push you to deeper faith.

Prayer: Lord, give me strength to pray until my answer comes.

“YOU NEED GOD”

1 Samuel 23:14 (NKJV) says, “And David stayed in strongholds in the wilderness, and remained in the mountains in the Wilderness of Ziph. Saul sought him every day, but God did not deliver him into his hand.”

This verse shows us two important truths: human effort and divine protection. David hid in strongholds. He stayed in the wilderness. He positioned himself in mountains and rocky places that were hard to attack. He used wisdom. He made preparations. Yet the final sentence makes it clear: “but God did not deliver him into his hand.” David’s safety was not because of geography and his ability to fight. It was because of God.

We all remember the story of the famous celebrity Michael Jackson. He had the best doctors around him. He paid them to travel with him everywhere. He had people ready to donate organs if needed. He built what looked like one of the strongest “strongholds” money could buy. Yet he died. All the preparation, power, and wealth could not save him. This shows us something serious: human systems have limits.

We know the story of Saul and David. Saul, the king, used his army and power to hunt David daily. He searched for him everywhere. But he failed. Why? Because God did not allow Saul to capture him. David’s mighty men did not save him. The rocks did not save him. The stronghold did not save him. God saved him.

This verse reminds us how much we need God in every situation. No matter your ability, intelligence, wealth, or connections, you still need Him. David found a place to live where it was difficult place for Saul to attack. He went in to the wilderness he found mountains. In the mountains he found a stronghold. He did everything a wise man would do to assure his safety. But protection came from God.

Today, people build modern strongholds. They buy the best health insurance. They live in expensive and secure neighborhoods. They hire security companies. They make connections with powerful people so they can feel untouchable. They spend large amounts of money to secure their lives. But none of these things guarantee safety.

The lesson from David is clear: it was because God was protecting him. Without God, even the strongest defense can fail.

My message to you today is simple: you need God. Whatever you are depending on right now for security, it cannot fully save you. Money cannot. Power cannot. Influence cannot. This is your season to repent and return to Him. Stop trusting only in worldly systems. Surrender to God. Because without Him, you are not truly safe.

Prayer: Lord, protect me and teach me to trust You above all things.

“GOD DELIGHTS IN SHOWING US MERCY”

Micah 7:18 (NKJV) says, “Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.”

This verse reveals the heart of God. The prophet Micah is amazed at God’s character. He asks, “Who is a God like You?” because no one compares to Him. God pardons sin. He passes over transgression. He does not stay angry forever. Instead, He delights in mercy. Mercy is not something God gives unwillingly. It is something He enjoys giving.

One big mistake many of us make is thinking that God has an attitude like humans who hold grudges. We think He stays angry, waiting for a chance to punish us. But this verse clearly says He does not retain His anger forever. God is not like us. When we are offended, some of us enjoy staying angry until we see the other person suffer. We hold on to bitterness because we want revenge. But God is not like that.

God is merciful. He does not delight in punishing His people. He delights in showing kindness. He did not create you so He could hate you or destroy you. He created you for fellowship, to walk with Him and experience His goodness. His desire is restoration, not destruction.

Micah spoke these words after prophesying that Israel would rise again after captivity. Yes, their fathers had sinned. Yes, they were punished because of their stubborn and unrepentant hearts. But punishment was not God’s pleasure. It was the result of their refusal to receive His mercy. They hardened their hearts and rejected His call to repent.

Now Micah speaks to the remnant and reminds them of God’s true nature. God does not hold grudges. He forgives. When you repent, He lets go. He does not punish you today for sins you repented of yesterday. He does not keep a record to use against you later.

He also does not punish you for the sins of your fathers when you turn to Him. When you repent, His mercy covers you. His grace restores you. This is the God of the Bible.

Do not listen to false teachings that present God as always angry and eager to punish. Yes, God is just. But He delights in mercy. He rejoices when you come to Him and ask for forgiveness. When you repent, He forgives and restores.

Believe this truth. Trust His mercy. Come boldly to Him. His heart is open to forgive.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your mercy; forgive me and restore me today.

“THE SEASON OF CONSECRATION - THE DAY OF THE LORD IS COMING”

Zephaniah 1:7 (NIV) says, “Be silent before the Sovereign Lord, for the day of the Lord is near. The Lord has prepared a sacrifice; he has consecrated those he has invited.”

This verse calls for silence and reverence before God. It speaks about a great and serious day, the day of the Lord. It is not an ordinary day. It is a day God Himself has prepared. The verse says He has prepared a sacrifice and consecrated those He has invited. This means God is making a distinction. He is preparing both the event and the people who will stand in it.

In the book of Zephaniah, God speaks about judgment. He warns against sin, idolatry, and disobedience. The day of the Lord is described as a day of reckoning. Evil will not go unpunished. Those who rejected God and lived in rebellion will face judgment. That is why He consecrates His guests so they will not fall under that judgment.

This “day” finds its greatest meaning at the cross. When Jesus died, it was the ultimate sacrifice God had prepared. It was a day of breakthrough and a day of judgment at the same time. For those who believed in Him, it was a day of salvation, freedom, and victory. For those who rejected Him, it became a day of judgment.

The cross judged sin. It defeated the enemies of God. But it also opened the door of grace and blessing to those who accept Christ. The same event brought two different outcomes, depending on the heart of the person.

Now you must ask yourself an important question: which side are you on? As we move toward Easter and remember the sacrifice of Jesus, are you consecrated? Have you allowed God to wash and cleanse you? Are you preparing for blessing or for judgment?

Consecration means setting yourself apart for God. It means repentance. It means turning away from sin and choosing obedience. It means allowing the blood of Jesus to cleanse your heart. Everyone who refuses consecration remains exposed to judgment. But those who repent and sanctify themselves are positioned to receive God’s blessings.

The day of the Lord is both serious and glorious. It is judgment for rebellion and breakthrough for the faithful. Prepare yourself. God is inviting you into His blessing.

This is a season of preparation. God is inviting you. He has prepared the sacrifice. Now He calls you to be consecrated. Do not ignore this invitation. Be silent before Him. Reflect. Repent. Return.

Prayer: Lord, cleanse my heart and prepare me for Your holy day.

MERCIFUL GOD

Psalm 103:8 NKJV says, “The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.”

God is reminding you today of His true character. He is merciful. That means He does not treat us as our sins deserve. He is gracious. That means He gives us blessings we do not deserve. He is slow to anger. God does not react quickly in judgment. He is patient. He gives time for repentance. He is abounding in mercy. His mercy is not small or limited. It is great, deep, and overflowing. Mercy is not something God has sometimes. Mercy is who He is.

He is reminding you of His mercy and grace. He is reminding you of His character and what kind of God He is. He wants you to know Him correctly. He wants you to see His heart. God knows that many voices are speaking to your mind. Some voices say God is angry with you. Some say you have gone too far. But God speaks clearly through His Word. He says He is merciful and gracious.

He is doing this intentionally because the enemy is busy convincing you of the opposite. The devil wants you to believe that God is harsh and ready to reject you. One of the ways we are defeated in spiritual battles is when the devil succeeds in changing our attitude toward God. When fear replaces trust, we run away from God instead of running to Him.

Once you see God differently from who He truly is, it becomes difficult for you to receive anything from Him. Faith grows when we know His goodness. If you think God is against you, you will not pray with confidence. You will hide like Adam in the garden. Wrong thoughts about God create distance.

Revelation 12:10 says, “for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.” Before Jesus came, Satan had a place to accuse, like he did in the book of Job. But Jesus came and defeated him. The accuser was cast down. He no longer stands before God accusing you. Now he tries to change your mind about God.

That is why God reminds you of His mercy and grace. No matter what you have done or experienced, He is still a loving God. He has not rejected you. He is a Father with open arms. Come to Him today. Break the wall of separation the devil has placed in your heart and return to the merciful God.

Prayer: Merciful Father, help me trust Your grace and mercy today. Amen

Egypt represents bondage, sin, fear, oppression.
But the Lord is still the Deliverer. 🙌

They need to hear what the Lord has done in your life.

“YOU NEED HIS STRENGTH”

Psalm 73:26 (NKJV) says, “My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

In this verse, David speaks honestly about human weakness. He admits that his flesh and even his heart can fail. The flesh represents our human strength, emotions, and natural ability. The heart represents our inner courage and endurance. Both can become weak. But David does not end with failure. He declares that God is his strength and his portion forever. This shows that it is the strength of God that sustains us when we cannot sustain ourselves.

The Bible clearly says, “without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). This means that real and lasting strength comes from God. Yes, your own strength, your flesh can accomplish some things. You can work hard, plan, and push forward. But there is a limit. There comes a point in life when you feel you cannot continue. You cannot endure the pressure. You cannot fight the temptation. You cannot carry the burden anymore. This is where your flesh fails. And this is where you truly need God.

Even Jesus experienced this human weakness. In the Garden of Gethsemane, He said, “The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41). Jesus had never sinned. He did not deserve suffering. Yet in that painful moment, His flesh felt the weight of what was ahead. He prayed in deep agony. His weakness was not because of sin. It was because of human nature.

This teaches us something important. The weakness of your flesh is part of being human. Sometimes it has nothing to do with your failure. It is simply your limit. If Jesus experienced weakness in His flesh, do not condemn yourself when you feel weak.

Instead of condemning yourself, turn to God. Ask for His help, just as Jesus did. David declared this truth because he knew his own weakness. He understood that his strength alone was not enough. But he also knew that God’s strength never fails.

The power to overcome sin, temptation, and challenges does not come from your willpower alone. It comes from God’s grace. You cannot defeat the power of sin by yourself. You need His strength. You need His Grace.

When your flesh fails, God remains faithful. When your heart grows tired, God renews you. His love does not stop at your weakness. It meets you there and lifts you up.

Prayer: Lord, be my strength when I am weak and carry me through every trial.

RELENTLESS LOVE OF GOD

In Luke 13:34 (GNT), Jesus cries out with deep emotion: “Jerusalem, Jerusalem! You kill the prophets, you stone the messengers God has sent you! How many times I wanted to put my arms around all your people, just as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you would not let me!”

This verse reveals the tender, aching heart of God. Jesus, speaking as God Himself, shows longing and sorrow. He has tried many times to protect and gather Jerusalem habitats, like a hen sheltering her chicks from danger. Yet the people refused. They rejected the prophets, stoned God’s messengers, and turned away from His love. Despite their rebellion and violence, Jesus does not give up. His words drip with compassion, not anger. This picture of a mother hen paints God’s love as gentle, protective, and persistent.

Yesterday we saw how Jesus wept over Jerusalem because of their arrogance and unrepentant heart. His tears proved His love for them even in their sin. This teaches us that God loves His people even when they rebel against Him.

Today’s verse shows the same heart. God points out their sins, rejecting, stoning, and killing His messengers. He sent those prophets out of love. God is not quick to reject or punish the moment someone sins. He waits patiently. He loves us. He loves you. He wants you to return to Him. He does not want to punish you. Instead, He compares Himself to a hen that cares deeply for her chicks. If you have ever seen a mother hen spread her wings to cover and warm her little ones, you know that kind of tender care. God’s love for you is even greater far more than any mother loves her child.

In this Lent season, God has sent this message to remind you of His relentless love. His voice is gentle and full of love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to save you. Do not refuse Him as Jerusalem did. If you have refused Him before, if your heart has been hard and stony, make a decision today. Repent and choose to do what is right.

Let go of bitterness, lust, and every secret sin. Be obedient to Him. Forgive those who hurt you. Stop the evil things you do in secret. Pray and ask Him to forgive you and cleanse you completely.
He is not angry with you. He has not rejected you. He is calling you back today that is why you are reading this.

He calls you to life. If you feel spiritually dead, if you stopped praying, worshipping, or going to church, He is calling you back. Jesus has washed away all your sins with His blood. Accept His grace and mercy today.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for Your relentless love. Forgive me, gather me under Your wings today. Amen.

“LISTEN AND OBEY THE ONE GOD SENT 2”

Proverbs 16:18 (GNT) says, “Pride leads to destruction, and arrogance to downfall.”

This short verse carries a serious warning. Pride may look like confidence, but it is dangerous when it hardens the heart. Arrogance makes a person feel untouchable, correct, and above correction. The Bible clearly tells us where pride leads, it leads to destruction. It does not lead to honor, safety, or peace. It leads to downfall.

Luke 19:41–44 (GNT), says; "He came closer to the city, and when he saw it, he wept over it, saying, “If you only knew today what is needed for peace! But now you cannot see it! The time will come when your enemies will surround you with barricades, blockade you, and close in on you from every side. They will completely destroy you and the people within your walls; not a single stone will they leave in its place, because you did not recognize the time when God came to save you!”

What do we see in this story? The result of pride and arrogance. Jerusalem saw itself as special and untouchable. They believed they knew everything about God. They felt they needed no correction. When God sent prophets to rebuke and warn them, they rejected, persecuted, and even killed them. They closed their ears to truth.

Even Jesus knew that Jerusalem would reject Him. And they did. Sometimes a person can become so arrogant and predictable that even God knows how they will react before it happens. A proud heart always reacts the same way, it resists correction, rejects rebuke, and refuses repentance. But this behavior does not please God. It breaks His heart. The Bible says Jesus wept. Imagine that, the Son of God crying because people were too proud to accept salvation.

It is a sad thing to see someone who cannot be corrected. Pride blinds the eyes. It makes a person think they are right even when they are wrong. And according to Proverbs, that road ends in destruction.

As we enter the Lenten season, we remember how Jesus suffered and died so that we may be saved. He humbled Himself for our sake. If Jesus humbled Himself, how can we remain proud? Lent is a time to examine our hearts. Are we listening when God speaks? Are we obeying the ones He sends to us?

Today, choose repentance and humility. Do not repeat the mistake of Jerusalem. Recognize God’s visitation. Listen and obey the One He has sent. If you humble yourself, God will save and deliver you. You will not end in destruction, but in peace.

Prayer: Lord, remove pride from my heart and teach me true humility.
