Letβs talk about thisβ¦
What's going on with this India Nepal comparison?
First of all... comparing NEPAL'S GOV. work with INDIA ?, That's like saying one bucket can paint a room⦠so why can't it paint an entire bungalow?
Anyway, let's get into the points:
1. "Balen govt is all educated"
One simple search will show you the academic qualifications of Indian cabinet ministers. Itβs not hidden. Just searchβ¦ can't you?
2. "Transparency in govt expenditure"
Again.. one search. India already has this for years:
CPWD, CPGRAMS, OGD Platform, PFMS, DEMO, PAIMANA, e-Nivesh, MyGov⦠and many more at both central and state levels.
3. VIP culture
You really think it can just vanish? Time to wake up, and go to school.
Remember when beacon lights were banned? what it lead to ?(many guys have already made videos on this, just check that out)...
Let's be honest... even a middle-class person looks for VIP access when given a chance. This isn't just about politicians.
4. Civic sense
Please⦠don't even start.
Do you want Parliament to pass a law to teach basic civic sense?
Or is it something individuals should practice themselves?
And this "Nepal is clean, people have civic sense" narrative ... Go to Sikkim, Northeast, Uttarakhand, Himachal, our islands. Those people are Indians too.
Ok, this isn't about hating Nepal or its government.
They are taking steps... good ones. Let's see the long-term impact.
PM Modi has invited Nepalβs PM Balen, he'll be visiting soon. Good for both nations.
But the point is simple:
You can't compare two countries where one is smaller than some states of the other.
Comparing like this just makes no sense.
For nepal.. I personally don't care.. what goes in their country, whatever the hell goes in their internal politics, i don't care..
And honestly, this toxic back-and-forth needs to stop.
Iβve seen people on both sides crossing limits UNNECESSARILY...
That certain section online acting with a strange moral superiority complex (specifically Nepalese). It's honestly just.β¦ funny.
To you (Indian), have you heard of the 1988 visit of Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi to Nepal? Apparently, Sonia Gandhi wasnβt allowed to enter Pashupatinath Dham because she wasnβt Hindu.
And so, the son of the Iron Lady got boiling hot in anger, concluded the visit midway, didn't even attend the puja, and returned to India. Shortly after, he announced the unthinkable.... an ECONOMIC BLOCKADE.
Let me tell you⦠till that time, India and Nepal were something like what Russia and Belarus are today⦠yes, that close. It was Congress that put this historically strong relationship at risk and allowed our biggest ally to slowly slip towards China.
THAT'S IT FROM MY SIDE... we can discuss further in comment section...
