There will be a time and a place for dissecting every little thing about Reinhardt, his legacy, the way he lived his life, etc.
Today is not that day. Today is the day I say goodbye to a brother, a son, a husband and a father.
We will NOT spend today disparaging, in-fighting, or causing strife. We will spend today in quiet reflection in the Lord, thanking him for the influence our friend and fallen brother had in our lives.

This band gave Reinhardt and I immense comfort for the last few years. Lyrics are taken direct from scripture.
We all find solace in many different ways. As I sit here, listening to the tears of our mother, I keep coming back to the things we both shared that we found incredibly awesome, and heartfelt.
This is definitely different for Ape Mountain, and it won’t be a lot of people’s cup of tea, but it’s what brings me comfort right now as I mourn for my brother, and rejoice that he is in Paradise worshipping the Father of all creation.

Reinhardt touched so many lives in his short time here in this realm. As his brother, I am so incredibly humbled, and words cannot express how PROUD I am of him. He led so many to the Lord, inspired so many to re-commit their lives to Jesus, and lived and loved in a way all of us dream about. To those who knew him best, he was nerdy, crazy, and prone to rants containing more knowledge most forget in a lifetime. To me….he was my best friend. If you feel led, this is to help his wife and son get on their feet and help with expenses in this horribly painful time.
Thank you all for loving my brother the way you did. The work he did through this community meant everything to him. He genuinely loved praying for people, and teaching them about Jesus, ever since he was young.
