🔥 Totemancer Update - Awakening Changes

Totemancers,

I’ve made Awakening more accessible.

From now on, Common and Uncommon Totems can be Awakened using Mana only.

No Stars required.

This means:
• You can activate more of your collection
• You can experiment more freely
• Progress feels smoother early on

Rare, Ultra Rare and Secret Rare Totems remain premium tiers and still require Stars - their power and visual impact stay special.

My goal here is simple:
Make Totemancer feel fair, rewarding, and enjoyable whether you choose to spend or play completely free.

If you’ve been holding onto Mana, now might be the perfect time to Awaken a few Totems and shine on the board.

I’ve been polishing some of the visual details in battles and profiles.

Totem rarities now have improved glow colors, awakened totems trigger different burst explosions depending on rarity, and premium totems have a subtle directional light effect in the mini-profile.

Next time you burst a tile… watch closely. 🙂

🤝 Invite system update

I’ve reworked how invites work in Totemancer - now it’s simpler, clearer, and more rewarding for both players.

✨ What’s new
— Invite friends directly from the game
— Both sides now get rewards
— Invites count once your friend plays 3 matches (so it stays fair and real)

🎁 Friendship Chest 🆕
When you invite someone:
• Your friend gets a Friendship Chest when they join
• You get a Friendship Chest once they become an active player

Friendship Chests are special boosted reward chests designed just for invites.

🏆 Invite milestones
As more friends become active, you unlock bonus chests:
• 5 invites → Common Chest
• 15 invites → Rare Chest
• 30 invites → Ancient Chest
• 50 invites → Mythic Chest

The goal here is simple:
I want inviting friends to feel rewarding for real players - not just link spam or passive systems.

⚔️ Tyrant system update

I’ve improved how Tyrant bonuses work.

— Defeating a player on a big win streak now grants a stronger, clearer bonus reward
— Rewards scale better with streak strength
— The system is now fairer and less exploitable

The goal is simple: strong players should feel dangerous, and taking them down should feel rewarding.

🎲 Daily Roll update

I’ve refreshed the daily dice roll a bit.

— Everyone now rolls on equal terms
— You can win Mana or bonus Chests
— Rewards feel more consistent with the rest of the game

Small improvement, but it should make daily rolls more fun and fair 🙂

🎨 Borders are now more flexible to unlock.

You can still unlock them with Mana as nothing changed there.

But if you prefer, you can now also unlock borders instantly with Telegram Stars.

Borders are purely cosmetic and just another way to personalize your profile and make it feel more you.

I’m trying to keep everything simple: play competitively, customize if you enjoy it, and choose what feels right for you.

I’ve simplified the start of the game.

The old tutorial is gone.

Now your first match teaches you naturally:
– placement hints
– burst timing
– scoring logic

Most players skipped the tutorial anyway and then struggled later.

Totemancer should be understood by playing, not by reading walls of text.

Matchmaking is faster now too; less waiting, more playing.

We’re moving toward a cleaner, more competitive experience.

24 hours in and you claimed 678 chests.
That’s a lot of games played.

So far: 533 Common / 123 Rare / 19 Ancient / 3 Mythic.
And one absolute grinder opened 14 already 💀🔥

I’ll keep fine-tuning the balance, but this is a really strong start.
Keep testing + keep telling me what feels too slow / too fast 🐾

In the first 12 hours, players have already collected 230+ chests.

👋 Quick update from me

I’ve rebalanced the in-game economy to fully match Totemancer’s new non-crypto direction. Prices are now based only on Telegram Stars, not TON, so everything is more stable and predictable.

What’s new:
✦ Pets will be discovered more often
✦ Daily pet discount increased 10% → 15%
✦ Rebalanced costs for Mana, Pets & some Totems to keep progression fair
✦ Promo discounts are no longer extended; offers stay clear and time-limited
✦ Mini-profile in matches now shows upgraded totem benefits for both players

What I’m looking at next:
→ Upgrading Clans with Telegram group discovery from clan leaders
→ More social tools around teams & competitions

✨ Big update: Chests are here!

I’ve made an important change to Totemancer progression - and I want to explain it clearly 🙂

🎁 Introducing Chests

Instead of small Mana and totem drops after every win, rewards now come through Chests of different rarities.

💫 Everyone also gets 2 FREE chests per day - available every 4 hours!

Chests contain bigger bundles of Mana, pets, and totems - and in the future they’ll also hold new items, cosmetics, and other surprises.

Why this is better
✅ More exciting rewards instead of tiny drops
✅ Fairer for real players
✅ Strong protection against bot farming
✅ Easier to run events, giveaways & clan rewards
✅ Pets still boost totem chances as before
🐾 You can even find a pet inside a chest

Opening times
⌛️ From 10 minutes → 8 hours depending on rarity.
If this feels too slow, I’ll add options to speed them up with Mana/Stars.

This is a big step toward a healthier and more fun economy for Totemancer. I’ll be watching your feedback closely 👀
