if you remember, this feature, alongside wear cycle was introduced in app long ago, and disabled (in UI) maybe half a year ago. I got some new ideas, so we can test them again in next test version.

The new algorithm of health estimation includes more "filters" for the sessions available for estimation. As we need transparency and accuracy, instead of taking sessions from past 1 month, the new algorithm selects top 5 sessions from recent past and shows you a badge with one of these states:

Verified - we have 5 clean sessions and they all agree with each other. The number you see is reliable.

Estimated - we have enough sessions, but they disagree slightly. The number may shift a few percent as more clean charging sessions land.

Approximate - your device does not provide accurate charging data (some Xiaomi, OPPO, and OnePlus firmwares fake the charge counter), so the estimation here is a rough one based on what we can read.

Learning - we are still collecting clean charging sessions. Just charge a few more times and the badge will move to Verified or Estimated.

For best accuracy, charge from a low battery level to 100% with the screen off. Those are the sessions the algorithm trusts most.

In next update I would add a explanation of the states and explain them as here.

Please provide screenshots of you health screen, let's see how it works.

I'm finally near the end of implementation for advanced App Usage screen. Was working for several months on it, same as summary screen and backup/restore.
Looking back at the posts on the channel it was almost a year.🫡

I'm utilized some of the parts of Privacy Dots app that I has on Playstore for maybe a year or so.

This version has experimental features of backup and restore, and exporting battery report in CSV and PDF. These are features requested by the users for longer period of time. Please do test it bit by bit, and report back.

Regarding backup and restore feature, on my end it working well, but I haven't fully tested it, seems like all the battery data and app settings are available, now you are doing this on your own responsibility, if data of the app is lost, I cannot do anything to recover it. I would recommend testing it on any spare device or emulator, or if you don't care about your current app data.
By the time, I will improve it further.
