🚀 Big update to DT Journal over the past couple of days.

We’ve rolled out a major upgrade to Structured Analysis, which is now fully unified into a single system with a cleaner workflow that mirrors how traders actually operate:

📋 Plan → 📈 Execute → 🔍 Review → 📊 Improve

One powerful use case is forward testing. You can now create an analysis for a specific period, document your plan and expectations, and then review how your trades actually played out against that plan.

🧠 The Intelligence Engine has also been expanded, surfacing deeper insights such as:
• plan vs execution adherence
• behavioral trading patterns
• performance summaries across the analysis period

🌍 We’ve also introduced automatic macro event linking. Economic events are now synced in the background and can automatically appear inside your analysis timeline based on the instruments and time period you’re trading, giving much better context around news-driven volatility.

📁 Trade Folders are now live as well, allowing you to group trades by strategy, experiment, or theme so you can review performance more intentionally.

Alongside this are timeline upgrades, UI improvements, and a lot of internal cleanup to make the system faster and more scalable.

More improvements coming soon. The goal is to continue turning DT Journal into a full trading improvement system, not just a journal. 📈

Hey guys,

This is a personal project I’ve been working on over the past month. Forge a discipline website designed to help organise and improve different areas of life, from finances and health goals to weekly reflections and personal accountability.

I originally built it for myself as a tool to stay structured and disciplined, and decided to open it up for others to try as well.

There’s still a lot I want to improve and refine. I may not implement every suggestion, but I’m always open to hearing feedback if you find something that could make it better.

Hey everyone, I’m excited to share that DT Journal has officially been approved by Apple and will be live on the App Store within the next 24 hours.

Thank you all for the continuous support and patience while we worked through the process. It truly means a lot.

I’ll update everyone here again once it’s officially live.

For Android users, the app should be available soon as well, we’re currently just waiting on a few final items from the Google team.
