Day 85 of building Cashflow in public.

Today I submitted Cashflow to the Colosseum Frontier Hackathon.

Super proud of what we managed to build and achieve during these past months.

At the same time, I clearly feel that this is only the beginning.

There are already a lot of plans for May and June:
– partnerships currently in discussion
– new features
– growth experiments
– improving the product even more

Now I hope the Colosseum team invites me to the Colosseum Accelerator in San Francisco.

Just found this image on Facebook.

I have have only two questions...

1. Why there is still no eSim in MacBook?
2. Why there is still no Face ID in Macbook?

I love Touch ID. And it works perfectly. But why still no Face ID? it sounds like an obvious feature.

And same for eSim. I could understand why no physical sim. But we switched to eSIM in iPhones years ago.

Apple, pleasee add eSim to the upcoming MacBooks.

Day 36 of building Cashflow in public.

Today I continued working on Squad vault recovery and it’s almost complete.

– Implemented email-based recovery
– Added recovery via external wallets
– Built a dedicated web page where users can sign recovery proposals from any wallet

This makes recovery flexible and not tied to a single device or environment.

Now I’m testing everything to make sure the flow works smoothly.

Tomorrow I’ll prepare screenshots and finalize the app description.

Day 32 of building Cashflow in public.

Spent most of the day fixing bugs, especially around notifications.

I initially thought everything was ready, but found a few issues:

– Firebase permissions had to be reconfigured after changes in Google Cloud
– Discovered that incoming USDC and other SPL token transfers were not triggering notifications, because I was only subscribing to the main wallet address and not all token accounts

To fix this, I migrated to Helius webhooks.

Now testing the notification system again to make sure everything works reliably.

Also trying to keep infrastructure costs as low as possible while maintaining good performance.

Day 33 of building Cashflow in public.

Today I submitted the final build to the Colosseum Eternal challenge.

Really proud of what we managed to build over these 4 weeks - from idea to a working product, fully built in public.

Now waiting to see if we get invited to the interview stage.

At the same time, I’ve already started working on one of the final missing pieces - squad vault recovery.

It will take a few more days to finish, but we’re getting very close to a complete product.

Day 34 of building Cashflow in public.

Today I continued working on Squad vault recovery.

– Added support for external wallet as a recovery method
– Currently implementing email-based recovery via Privy

Also added the ability to send in-app notifications through Firebase Realtime Database.

Push notifications can sometimes be blocked, so I wanted to make sure users still receive important updates directly inside the app - especially for onchain transactions.

Today I focused on polishing the app and preparing it for launch in the Solana Mobile dApp Store.

What was added:
– Analytics
– Push notifications
– In-app notifications for new transactions

Now I’m testing everything to make sure the experience is stable and smooth.

Planning to submit the app for review in the next few days. Soon anyone will be able to try Cashflow.

Day 30 of building Cashflow in public.

Today I got approved for a Superteam grant to spend one month at Network School.

I first heard about Network School almost a year ago from https://x.com/ivan_nomadz from https://nomadz.xyz/sign-up?referralCode=mike and immediately thought it would be an incredible place to visit.
Now it’s actually happening.
In May I’ll be going there with my family and my small kid.
I truly believe this experience can take Cashflow to the next level, and help me grow as a founder as well.

Today I finished building the invite system.

Here’s what it includes:

– One-time invite codes
– Custom multi-use codes for communities, partners, or events
– Tasks that boost your invite score (follow X, join Telegram, connect wallet)
– A waitlist leaderboard based on invite scores
– A simple web admin to manage invites, waitlist users, and custom codes

This system will help manage early access and grow the community before the public launch.

Today I started working on the invite system.

Cashflow will be invite-only at the beginning. I want to make the early access phase a bit more fun and interactive.

Users will be able to boost their invite score by doing simple actions like:
– retweeting our post on X
– following our X account
– joining our Telegram channel

I started implementing the system today and should be able to finish it tomorrow.

Day 26 of building Cashflow in public.

After a full week of recording pitches, making presentations, and applying to programs, I finally got back to development today.

Here’s what was shipped:

– Added encryption of response data between backend and mobile app so users are safer even on public WiFi
– Reduced the APK size from 80 MB to 26 MB (a 67.5% reduction)
– Added authentication for some sensitive endpoints, like fetching wallet assets
– Announced the waitlist
– Improved UX around minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts for Kamino vaults
– Applied to Network School

Feels good to be back in builder mode.

– Added an additional encryption layer for storing keypairs
– Implemented PIN authentication for entering the app
– Added Face ID authentication

Just applied to Network School. Honestly, it’s a bit scary - I have no idea how it would go, especially since I’d want to move there with my 4-year-old kid. But I want to give it a try.

Also applied to Superteam grant to sponsor a month in NS, they are partnering and sponsoring promising Solana builders for a month.
